DTAE 1: you are here DTAE 2: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1011603508/ ✧.* ⬦ hello and welcome to another project of mine! ⬦ this is a special project- i've decided to enter in this AWESOME dta by @pixelJay-, and decided- hey, it's spring break, i have time for once, lets make something cool!! ⬦ so yeah, have a short animatic by yours truly! really happy with how this came out. ENJOY!! (look out for more entries) ↳ [project details] ✧.* ⬦ this was fully animated / drawn in Krita- i had to tween it by hand LOL it was kind of relaxing honestly, but also very time consuming :skull: ⬦ 218 frames total including the end card thing, i put it in a seperate sprite so that it would keep running until the music stops tho ^^ ↳ [character details] ✧.* ⬦ name: Vestris ⬦ gender: female ⬦ story(wip): Vestris was born into a family of rulers. Her father, mother, grandmother, grandfather, and so on were all the rulers of their tribe. And so, when she was of age, she too took on the burden and responsibility of being the ruler of her tribe, wearing the customary hawk skull to signify her rank. At first, things were going perfectly. Her parents were her advisors, and under their supervison she ran the tribe with no major obstacles. She was a fierce, but caring, ruler. Soon, however, things began going wrong. Members of the tribe began disappearing; earthquakes would create chasms in the desert floor. This had never happened before, but Vestris was sure the tribe would survive. That was until the accident. A freak sandstorm completely destroyed the tribe's homes and supplies, killed tribe members, and scared off all the prey. Driven by rage and despair, Vestris took an oath- an oath no ruler had ever taken. She swore she would destroy whoever or whatever was bringing ruin to the desert and its tribe, if she would be granted the power to do so. And she got the power she wanted. Only she became banished from the tribe, which feared the being that was behind the oath. Even her parents wanted nothing to do with her. The being slowly began consuming her, driving her out of mind as she wandered the desert. Her thoughts were entirely focused on finding the beast who would try to hurt her tribe. She began to stop eating, spending every day traveling farther and farther out into the wilderness. She would fall, but would get up again, heedless of the injuries she was accumulating, hoping to find some clue that could help her. Finally, she collapsed, unable to get up. The being had broken her. Black filled her eyes and red flowed down her cheek. The last thing she saw before the black and red completely took her over were the vultures circling in the sky.
