Finnies (orlus oris) are a species related to gobs. They prefer living in still, shallow waters, often overgrown by algae. If you were to look at them from below, you would see an oval-shaped mouth. They use it to graze on different kinds of algae and kelp. The fin on their backs serves as heat regulation, able to store heat gathered from the sun into specialized glands inside the creature's body. When threatened or hunting, the finnie can create a little shockwave to stun its enemies by releasing the energy through its tail. Finnies have no eyes and also use the energy to send out waves as a way of echolocation. Finnies love sunbathing. Genus: albinae Lifespan: 5-6 years
