[— — John 20:1 ESV - ‘Now on the first day of the week Mary Magdalene came to the tomb early, while it was still dark, and saw that the stone had been taken away from the tomb.’ John 20:11-16 ESV - ‘But Mary (Jesus’s Mother) stood weeping outside the tomb, and as she wept she saw two angles in white, sitting where the body of Jesus had lain, one at the head and one at the feet. They said to her, “Woman, why are you weeping?” She said to them, “They have taken away my Lord, and I do not know where they have laid him.” Having said this, she turned around and saw Jesus standing, but she did not know it was Jesus. Jesus said to her, “Woman, why are you weeping? Whom are you seeking?” Supposing him to be the gardener she said to him, “Sir, if you have carried him away, tell me where you have laid him, and I will take him away.” Jesus said to her, “Mary.” She turned around and said to him in Aramaic, “Rabboni!” (Which means Teacher”.’ Matthew 28:6 ESV - ‘He is not here, for he has risen, as he said. Come, see the place where he lay.’ — —] Happy Easter! Today, we celebrate the biggest day in history: the day Jesus Christ rose from the dead! Jesus loves us so much that he came and died for all of our sins; He was the most innocent man to ever walk the earth. We have all sinned against God. But Jesus sacrificed himself for us. And now, we can have eternal life through him! John 3:16 - ‘For God so loved the world, that He sent his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.’ <3
