"What are you doing here?" a voice demanded. Moonshine helped Fred to his feet, and looked up. A gathering of witches and wizards were sitting in a circle around a small fire, all of their eyes trained on the five of them. "Oh, Fred, you've really messed up this time," George muttered. "Mum'll k!ll us if we d!e." "Moonshine? Why are you here?" It was Asher. Moonshine immediately felt safe. These people wouldn't k!ll them with him here. "We found the hidden door," Moonshine said. "So you went through it?" Asher rolled his eyes. "Of course you did." "Uh, you know this guy?" Maggie whispered. "I'll explain later," Moonshine promised. "Asher, what is this?" she said. A wizard not much older than Asher stood. "We are The League of Nightfall," he announced proudly. The witches on either side of him tutted angrily and pulled him back down to a sitting position. Moonshine raised her eyebrows at Asher. "It's... hard to explain," he said. "Go ahead, I've got all night," Moonshine folded her arms. "We protect the wizarding world from things before they happen," Asher said. "We believe that Voldemort..." Maggie took a sharp breath. "You-Know-Who, isn't really dead, and that he's gaining power, we believe that he'll come back." The witches and wizards around the fire nodded earnestly. "But no one knows about us." He said. "We work undercover." "So, you ran away," Moonshine said. "And for what? To join a group of conspiracy theorist who insist on being secretive for no reason? And then you just happen to show up by my window to warn me but don't actually explain anything else, about why you had us believe you were d3ad or something, you show up out of nowhere after two years at my window and then leave just as quickly as you arrived." Moonshine shook her head. "Do we really have to have this conversation now?" Asher asked, glancing around at the others sat around the fire. "Yes, yes we do," Moonshine insisted. "Because I have no idea when we're going to have it again, or when I'm even going to see you again. Maybe in two years, when you show up at my window warning me about some other obscure event, and maybe after I can walk in on you and your friends having a lovely forum discussion about your conspiracy theories and how you're going to stop things that you have no proof are going to happen!" Moonshine took her glasses off to wipe her tears away. "I've missed you Asher, and so has Dad. Maybe you should've thought twice about running away." Moonshine turned back to the door, clearing her throat. "We're done here. Sorry, guys." And she walked out the room, not waiting for the others to catch up. She started running as soon as she reached the first set of stairs, and she ran all the way back to the Common Room. Luckily, she didn't bump into any professors. She got into bed fully dressed, and pretended to be asleep when Maggie got back. Thankfully, Maggie didn't bother her. But she was sure she'd be dealing with a few questions tomorrow...
