Rein was sitting in front of the big cabin, trying not to listen to Chiron. "My boy, you must tell me what you agreed to do," Chiron insisted for the millionth time. Rein looked at the centaur, at his mentor, and sighed. "You know I won't talk about it, Chiron." Chiron looked Rein in the eye, and waited for the demigod to give up. Rein stared back, looking into Chiron's intense, brown eyes. After five long minutes, Rein gave up with the starring contest. "I'm done," he said with a breath. "But I'm not going to tell you, since it's personal." Chiron sighed, and said, "You could tell me other things." Rein shook his head no, and stood up. *I have to go start my planning to steal the helm of darkness,* he thought to himself. "Sorry, but I have to go, Chiron. I'll talk to you later." He walked away from the centaur, and sighed when he saw Aliza Drowy. Aliza smirked when she saw him, and walked up to him. This irritates him, and he turns around. "I don't want to talk to you, Drowy," he muttered. Out of the corner of his eye, he saw Aliza still approaching him. He sighed, and stopped walking. Aliza tapped him on the shoulder, and said, "You know, Maddison Everi's looking for a new friend." He turned to her, and raised an eyebrow. "Who?" Rein asked the daughter of Hephaestus. "Daughter of Dionysus," the daughter of Hephaestus said with a smirk. "Maddison Everi. She's a pretty girl." He laughed, and said, "What happened to 'He's not a child?' I'm seventeen, as you said, and I can take care of myself." He looked around, and said, "Besides, I'm not looking for a girl. I already have a l()v3r." "Who?" Aliza asked with a grin. She got into his face, and said, "It's not anyone I know, is it?" He shook his head, not wanting to tell her about Deimos. *Man, just thinking about him makes me want to find him,* he thought to himself. Aliza sighed, and put her hand around his arm. She started to drag him off to the forge. "No, I'm not going into that hot place!" He said, digging his heels into the dirt. "Yes, you are," she said, turning her head to look at him. She continued to drag him toward the Hephaestus Cabin, and eventually he gave up. Aliza dragged him into the forges, and he began to sweat. "Drowy, it's too hot in here," he said, trying not to complain too much. "Stop complaining, Rein," Aliza said, bring him closer to her. He shuddered, and said, "I said-" "I know what you said," Aliza whispered. She looked around quickly, then said, "And I know of your mission for Chaos." "But-How?" Rein whispered. *He hadn't told anyone, and the daughter of Hephaestus still knew about his task. Why is he always this unlucky?* "I work for both sides," Aliza answered. She started to work on a piece of metal that was laying on the table, and continued to whisper. "James and I grew up together. When he was caught by minions of Chaos, I went to save him. There, they gave us a deal. Work for them, and live, or refuse, and d!3. Obviously, we said we would work for them." She paused, and looked at him. "We were tasked with finding a child of Thanatos. Looks like James succeeded, if he's the one who brought you here." He chuckled and gave her a nod. "And the only reason you're back is to keep up appearances," Aliza said under her breath. "Why are you here, if not to keep up appearances?" Rein asked quietly. Aliza shot him a look that said, "Because I have to, and because I can't leave my siblings behind." He nodded, and said, "Yeah, I can understand that." She shook her head, and he knew what she was thinking. That he didn't care about his siblings. "I have a sister, Themis. She's six, and I have to find her." "What's you plan to get the helm of darkness? We can work on finding Themis later," Aliza said quietly. She turned to him, and put a hand on his shoulder. "Trust me, I know you want to find her, but we'll have to complete the task from Chaos first." "You know, you're being awfully secretive about your mission for Chaos," Rein pointed out, taking her hand off his shoulder. She laughed after turning around, and said, "My task is none of your business. Just know that it's important." He nodded, and listened to her. "Deimos will stage an attack on Camp, and find a way to get the gods involved, including Hades." She turned her head to look him in the eye. He nodded, listening to this plan of hers. "You will sneak into the underworld, and get the helm of darkness quickly." "And this is your plan?" "No, it's what you're going to do," Aliza said with a tone of finality. "You have no choice, since Chaos wants the helm in his hands sooner rather than later." "And since when could you order me around?" Rein retorted, looking her in the eye. "You might be the daughter of Hephaestus, God of Fire and Blacksmiths, but I am the son of Thanatos, the god of D3, whom is far more powerful than him." She laughed, and said, "So you think." She then turned around, and continued to work on the metal piece, that
was now starting to look like a phone. Rein was wondering how she was doing that with just her hands, but he wasn't going to ask. It was his opinion that it would be better if he didn't ask. He wanted to appear superior in knowledge and skill. "So, when is Deimos staging the attack?" Rein asked after a long moment of silence. Aliza looked at him, and quoted, "When the fall brings about pain, and when the sun is turned thrice times over." He sighed deeply, trying to figure it out. Sounds like something Deimos would never be able to come up with. He reviewed the first part. "When the fall brings about pain." *What could that possibly mean?* He asked himself. Aliza sighed, and said, "It means after Apollo has moved the sun around the earth 3 times, the pain will start." She sounded annoyed that he hadn't already figured it out. Rein looked at her, surprised. "Who came up with it?" He asked with a frown. "James did, thought it would be super cool," Aliza said with a roll of her eyes. She turned away from him, and said, "I'll see you later." Then, she pushed a couple of buttons on the wall, and a door appeared. Aliza Drowy turned to Rein and winked before walking through the doorway. Rein watched in amazement as the door shut behind her. "Wow, maybe Hephaestus is a cool god," Rein muttered to himself, walking out of the forge, and into the woods. He walked far into the woods, smiling to himself as he thought about Deimos, and the relationship they had. Rein had promised him he would get the helm, and Deimos had apparently decided to help with that. He smiled and leaned against a tree, thinking about to plan to himself.
