However, the battle system is a little different. To enter a battle, MOVE THE SOUL across the screen, then SELECT a fight by touching it and pressing Z. Make sure it is in your LV range (STATS AT BOTTOM OF SCREEN) When you enter the fight, the enemy will go through rounds of attacks. Eventually, a FIGHT button will appear in the box. You must touch it and press Z to click it. (If you wait too long to press it, it will override another attack you could've made) Attacks deal your ATK stat as damage. (see stats below) Eventually, winning a fight will grant EXP and GOLD. You can use GOLD to upgrade your weapon, which grants more ATK. With enough EXP, your LV will go up, giving you more MAX HP and ATK. However, to get as strong as possible, you should buy all the weapons. STATS----------------------------------------------------------------------- <MAX HP> - How much damage you can take before a game over. <LV> - Your total LOVE, which lets you take on harder foes. <EXP> - With enough EXP, your LOVE increases, giving you a boost in MAX HP, LV, and ATK. <ATK> - How much damage you deal when you FIGHT. <GOLD> - Is used for buying weapon upgrades.
