Hii!!! This is a dtae for @yimiconthesecond! I haven’t posted in a little while cuz im tryna figure out my art style—anyways, i wish everyone else entering the DTA good luck!! Ty!!! :D Lore~ —A Torn Lilypad is somewhat of a spirit who haunts the Florida Everglades. Lily was on a high school field trip tour in the Everglades when they fell backwards off the tour boat. Never having learnt how to swim, they slowly began to sink into the swampy waters. With some luck, a close friend spotted them drowning and they were taken out from the water and rushed to a hospital after CPR wasn’t very effective. In the hospital, the doctors tried all they could to find a some sort of pulse or sign of life. When all things seemed hopeless, Lily’s closest family members decided to take the body to have it cremated. But this was not the end for them. Lily, after running away from a cremation building and suffering from a burn on their right arm, had no memories of themself prior to the Everglades incident (only remembering drowning) and somewhat of their old name. Taking up a new nickname, “A Torn Lilypad”, they are trying to uncover the mysteries of their past and figure out why and how they are still alive—if even. So far, all they know is it has something to do with the Everglades—but what?
