I added Me Iron is the strongest element of them all. When Iron is formed at the center of a star that's dying, It makes the star unable to fuse more elements. Iron builds up at the center, until it reaches a critical amount. Then, the star has too much gravity. Within a fraction of a second, the star implodes, feeding more mass into the center. The star dies in a supernova explosion. This produces either a Neutron star, or if the star is big enough, the entire core collapses and becomes a Black hole. Our earth's core has Iron in it!
