Hey guysssss Sorry for being inactive! (BRAINSTORMING IDEAS for this XD) Enjoy this will you? YOU BETTER ENJOY OR I'LL GET YOR TO- (Just kidding, Just kidding! I'm just messing with you! DD) THIS IS 100% creds to Tatsuya Endo!! Fanfic by Me!!! ENJOYYYY After the Mission pt 1. (--Loid's POV--) As I poured myself a cup of coffee, my gaze wandered to the family photos on the mantle. Anya's bright smile and Yor's... well, Yor's tolerable expression, seemed to mock me. I'd told myself this was just a mission, a means to an end. But the more I looked at them, the more I realized I'd become a part of this makeshift family. I rubbed my temples, trying to ward off the growing headache. I'd been so focused on my mission, on becoming the perfect spy, that I'd forgotten what it meant to be human. Anya's laughter and Yor's quiet strength had seeped into my armor, weakening my defenses. I couldn't let that happen. I had to maintain control. But as I looked around the room, I saw reminders of our life together. Anya's toys, Yor's cooking, our silly family traditions... It was all so... ordinary. And yet, it felt more real than anything I'd experienced before. No. I told myself. It was only for the mission. ONLY for the mission. But why did they stick to me like this? I tried to shake off the feeling, telling myself it was just a side effect of prolonged exposure. But the truth lingered, refusing to be dismissed. Anya's tiny hand in mine, Yor's subtle smile when she thought no one was looking... These were the things that haunted me, that made me question my own motivations. Was I still just a spy, or had I become something more? As I stood in the living room, I couldn't help but think about the moment both Yor and Anya would walk through that door. I'd been rehearsing this speech in my head for weeks, preparing myself for the inevitable. It was time to end this charade, to tell them the truth - that I didn't need them anymore, that our little family was just a ruse. But as I imagined their faces, Yor's stoic mask and Anya's bright smile, my resolve wavered. Could I really do this? Could I kick them out, sever the ties we'd formed? Just as I was trying to gather my thoughts, the doorknob rattled, and I heard a faint scratching sound. My heart skipped a beat as I wondered if someone was trying to break in. I approached the door cautiously, my senses on high alert. As I peered through the peephole, I saw a familiar face - Franky, my fellow spy and friend. He looked disheveled and worried, and he mouthed something urgent through the door. My instincts told me to let him in, but my mind warned me to be cautious. What was Franky doing here, and what did he want? I opened the door, and Franky slipped in, his eyes darting around the room as if he feared being watched. "Loid, I need to talk to you," he said, his voice low and urgent. "It's about the mission. Something's gone wrong." I ushered him into the living room, trying to process what he was saying. "What do you mean? What's happened?" Franky hesitated, "I shouldn't be here," he whispered. "But I had to warn you. You're in danger, Loid. They know about your cover." My heart sank. Who knew about my cover? And what did they want with me? END!! Hope You liked it! part 2 soon! (hehehe whoever scrolls down gets to read more!!)) I felt a chill run down my spine. "Who knows?" I demanded, trying to keep my voice low. "And what do they want with me?" Franky glanced around the room again, his eyes lingering on the family photos on the mantle. "I don't know who, but... Loid, you need to get out of here. Now." "Wait," I whispered to Franky. "I need to get Yor and Anya out of here first. I won't leave them behind." Franky's expression turned skeptical. "Loid, you can't—" But I cut him off. "I'll handle it. Just give me a minute."Just as I was about to make a move, the doorbell rang. I froze, my heart sinking. Who could it be? I wasn't expecting anyone. Franky, still hiding in the shadows, gestured for me to answer it. I hesitated, but something compelled me to move towards the door. As I opened it, a chill ran down my spine. Standing on my porch were the last people I wanted to see - my handlers from the agency. "Loid Forger," one of them said, their expression cold and detached. "We've been looking for you." I knew I was in trouble. They had found me, and they knew about my cover. This was not going to end well. END FR!! HOPE U ENJOYED! HERE'S A QUICK SNEAK PEEK FOR PART 2!! Pt 2 (--Yor's POV--) I walked in, calling out, "I'm home!" But there was no response. The silence was eerie. I searched the house, but Loid was nowhere to be found. That's when I saw Franky, looking somber. "Yor, Loid's been taken away by some men," he said, before disappearing into the night. I felt my legs give way. I fell to my knees, sobbing uncontrollably, in the open doorway. The darkness closed in around me. (to be continued...)
