i cant believe THIS is going to be my first project on this account but icba. here you go. after seeing the situation... i honestly had no choice, i had to address it? i used to be @flwffbun (omg i hate that account sm now. ive changed a lot because i grew 2 years older... and society has changed. so if u see im a totally new person... i am.) now that i've come back to scratch, somehow the aesthetic community isn't even in the same studio. mind you, i was gone for a long time, months, up to a year or so. i come back and i first go to see all my friends. most of them are gone. left or ia. then i go to the aesthetic community. not even active because its at A NEW STUDIO. i find it and everything already looks so different. i realize there are a lot of kind curators and managers, but this is over the top. everyone's commenting so quickly, every 5 seconds there's a new comment. i dont even recognize any of them. barely any. i dont see any more of those old scratchers that used to be so active and popular. now they're gone, left, potentially ia. none of them are there anymore, it's all so DIFFERENT. i'm scared to comment anything. why? because back in the old aesthetic community, you could say anything and people would respond with a kind comment. now, it's literally just social media. what happened to just being friends or coding and making projects? now it's just another platform like tt and insta. there's barely any difference that i can see now. i don't like this. i'm sorry to every single one of you aes scratchers, but i had to rant. this wasn't what i was expecting to come back to on scratch. probably no one remembers me. this isnt meant to be self centered or to attract kindness and attention. what i'm trying to say is that all the old scratchers are just gone. there isn't even a legacy that's still remembered of them, they're just plain gone and that's not what i expected. the worst part is, none of the managers are active. i'm sorry to say this, but back then in 2022 or so, when you filled in a form you got invited by a manager pretty quickly, at least under an hour or 30 min. now i've filled in a form and no one has invited me. just people, curators, not managers, greet me and say a manager will "invite me soon" which i dont believe. barely any of the managers are active anymore, and its kind of ... idk. i used to be an aesthetic community manager back in the old studio, and i always tried my best to invite people quickly. in the new studio, barely any of the many managers are active. im not saying they're not active ENOUGH, i know they have their own lives, but im just think that a lot of the managers are just there because they're popular (no offense), even if they're not active, they aren't removed from the position (unlike before). there's barely any diversity. i'm not talking about cultures, that is a good thing in the community. im saying that everyone copies each other for some reason. why can't they be original? i see many VERY similar banner styles everywhere now. i want some uniqueness, something new to look at! sorry for this rant. i had to let it out. i typed this all in under 30 min because i was so fired up about this. sorry. if you read this and find it offending, im sorry but it was my opinion, i hope you dont put it against me. pointing things out because i noticed some differences. pls dont comment if you're going to be rude about it, im sorry again if this offended you.
