In a vast ocean in the Caribbean, a large ship sailed through the waves. The ship contained a crew of 30 men they had captured 120 Africans and were sailing them to Europe. "Hoist the sails!" shouted one of the sailors. The ship moved on. Bellow decks 120 African slaves were cramped in the ship. David was one of the many slaves below. He was filled with anger. He missed his homeland but most of all he sought revenge. One day later a white man came below deck. He carried a gun in case of misbehaving. Now David thought was an opportunity. When the sailor came over to him David using a pocket knife he possessed had cut his bounds. He jumped in the air at the same time he threw the knife at the sailor's chest. David picked up the knife and handed it to one of the slaves. "Free yourself and the others, I will rid myself of these dogs!" David went up on deck, gun in hand. With growing rage, he opened fire after a few minutes only 5 sailors remained. The 5 sailors surrendered but David showed no mercy and he threw them overboard. All the slaves came out of bellow deck and at seeing they were free they rejoiced. David was elected captain of the ship. David renamed the ship the Vengence and he sailed with his crew of 120 men seeking revenge. A few weeks later the Vengence came upon an island. It was inhabited by humans yet had little way of defending itself. With this in mind, David ordered his crew to attack. They destroyed the Island and took 4 boats and 300 men to add to his crew. David's crew also took the governor's only daughter Catherine and made her a slave. Although David very quickly was becoming the most feared pirate in the Caribbean, the former African slaves wanted to go home. So in the night they took one of David's ships and sailed off to Africa. When David found out he was so enraged he took his whole new crew of 300 men and sunk his former slave companion's ship. Catherine was ordered to be David's only daughter, Sally's slave. The two became friends and Sally helped Catherine plan an escape. Catherine one night on a lifeboat left David's ships on her way to freedom. During her escape, Catherine stole The Heart of the Carribean. A pendant that had belonged to her father who was now dead. When David found out he was enraged to protect her friend Sally took the blame. David, instead of showing mercy to his only daughter, David made a gruesome example of her and cut out her throat.
