Starlight was inside of the palace's gardens along with Chancellor. The two were watching the night skies despite the occasional clouds passing by. They were both quiet, taking in the nature around them. In the distance, there was a northern lights apparition coming from the snowy mountains and the two young hedgehogs were amazed by its colors. After more silence, Starlight decided to walk around a little to stretch her legs. Chancellor stayed at the garden to care for his AND Starlight's own pet Chaos and live with his parents, Imposter Shadow and Oliver. While Starlight was walking, she noticed a few dead moon flowers. To her curiosity, she reached out to touch them. However, her fingers glew yellow and the flowers became healthy again. She was suddenly shocked by what happened. Though, after getting time to process what happened, she got an idea. It was time that she helped her mother drop out from the grudge of heroes. She rushed back into the castle, talking to herself under her breath. "If I can bring back dead flowers then I must be able to bring back Sonic and his friends." Starlight went to Oliver again. Oliver was surprised to see her again, but he didn't mind her company at all. It was obvious that he liked her presence since he knew that Starlight was dating his son, Chancellor, which is something that he enjoys about his part of life. "Oliver, can you tell me where my mother kept her servants hidden? Please-" Oh, um...about that. She kinda, you know...ended them again..." Oliver interrupted, sounding anxious. Starlight didn't care, she needed to know where their bodies were in the castle. "No, no. Just tell me where they are hiding now. Guide me too, if you will." Starlight requested politely, trying to stay focused on what she was needing to do. Oliver nodded slightly and gestured to Starlight to follow him. She stayed close behind him, unwilling to lose sight of him. After walking to the other side of the castle, Oliver opened an old ice door that he had key access to. It was a little stuck but it managed to open wide enough for anyone to enter through. "You are not going in there by yourself, Starlight. My son is gonna have to be next to you for this." Oliver responded, sounding serious about how Starlight needs to be protected from this point. Starlight sighed deeply, accepting the command. Chancellor got summoned once again, looking calm as ever. "What is now, mom? Some help about something?" "No, I just need you to protect Starlight as she steps into this secret room that she asked about. I don't need her to get killed since Sundown Shadow will give the pain of my life if he finds out that his only daughter is dead." Oliver answered, crossing his arms and addressing Starlight by slightly tilting his head to her. Chancellor nodded at Oliver, showing that it was his sole purpose to love and protect Starlight with his life. Even if it meant making himself a mere sacrifice. Then, Starlight and Chancellor descended down into the secret room, first going through the slippery and icy stairs to head into Nova X's servant hiding place. Once the two made it, they noticed that the room felt really, really odd. The furniture looked old yet it still was usable. There were a couple of bookshelves that had books with ancient labels and symbols on them. But the final thing that was in the room was these glowing turquoise chains that were pulsating as the glew more brighter. "No way! Your mother had these chains? These chains are so cool. It's powerful enough to hold any being, strong or weak, with maximum spiritual power!" Chancellor exclaimed in joy, picking up one of the chains and looking at it. Starlight continued to look around the room and noticed a small cage hanging down from the ceiling, almost near floor level. There seemed to be the sound of soft yet rumbling purrs coming from the direction of the cage. She moved some stuff over and found her first servant, Sonic. He really had no legs yet he was breathing somehow. Starlight looked nervous at Sonic, as Chancellor came over and saw him too. He was calm, more used to the sight than Starlight was. Though, Sonic moved and lifted his head to show that he was actually alive and not dead. But, he looked so grotesque that it was scary. Though, he reached out of the cage and opened the cage door by himself. Starlight and Chancellor backed up, being shocked and anxious about how Sonic seemed so intelligent but he was dead since he had no legs at all. Sonic crawled out of his cage, his elongated arms giving him support to balance right and not have to be on his stomach to crawl around. Starlight eventually braved herself up and approached Sonic. She noticed how small he was and decided to pick him up so they can be face-to-face. "Sonic, do you happen to know where the rest of your friends are?" Starlight softly questioned, holding Sonic safely. He then pointed to a fake bookshelf. Were the bodies really behind it or is Sonic lying?
