As Chancellor pushed the fake bookshelf out of the way, there was an empty drop that seemed to go endlessly down. It seemed to be similar to a hollow elevator shaft. Starlight peered down into the darkness, holding Sonic close to herself. Sonic's glowing red eyes helped her see the surrounding area of the empty shaft a little more clearly. There were tons of wires dangling down and the metal seemed to be rusty. Even some ice has been formed over time as well. Starlight then saw some chains that seemed to go up towards the ascending darkness. "Chancellor, hold this!" Starlight responded, handing Sonic to Chancellor so he could hold him. Chancellor was surprised, but he got used to holding Sonic as Starlight began to courageously climb the hanging chain by herself. It didn't take long for her to reach where she believed the bodies of Sonic's friends were hiding. She managed to find Tails first. seeing his cold body. She went to him and examined him. His blood felt freezing to the touch. His eyes were missing and his two tails seemed to be frozen off. However, she placed her hand near him and her hand glowed yellow, restoring Tails back. It took Tails a few seconds to breathe again despite how long he's been dead for. Then Tails woke up. He felt dizzy but he managed to look at Starlight. "H-Huh? Who are you? Where's Sonic?" Tails asked, sounding like he's scared. Even his two tails covered him. "I'm Queen Starlight, the new 'Ice' Queen and Universal Watcher. But just call me Starlight. I'm here to save you and your friends." Starlight answered, gently helping him up. Tails felt a little confused and anxious but he trusted her. Starlight then guided Tails back to the secret room where Chancellor and Sonic were. Tails noticed Sonic and he felt emotional since he had no legs yet he was somehow alive. "Don't worry Tails, everyone else will be saved. Just wait for their arrival, okay?" Starlight reassured Tails, hugging him. "Alright ma'am, but can you restore Sonic for me please?" Tails asked. Starlight nodded, but she felt unsure if it would work since Sonic was missing his legs. A major part of his body. However, she decided to take a try. She placed a lot of her power into the restoring ability she has. After a few minutes, Sonic's body was normal again. Then, Sonic woke up, his vision taking a moment to clear up. "Owww, where am I? T-Tails?! Is that you, little buddy?" Sonic exclaimed, feeling tired from having his soul back into his body. Tails smiled wide and tightly hugged Sonic. Starlight and Chancellor watched from a couple of inches away. Sonic noticed Starlight and Chancellor and got up. He walked over to them, looking at them strangely. "Who are you two?" Sonic questioned while Tails stood next to him. Tails pointed to Starlight introducing her. "Her name is Starlight. She's the new Ice Queen and Universal Watcher, she says." Starlight slightly smiled at Sonic. Chancellor stayed silent, crossing his arms. Sonic nervously grinned at Starlight, elbowing her. "That's great! Uh...so is your mom is...Nova X, right?" "Yes she is, and she isn't...entirely good." Starlight answered. Sonic nodded, understanding her and taking a deep breath. "Welp, I guess all we can do is just hope that she doesn't freak out about this since I'm guessing that you are trying to bring us all back to life." Starlight smiled and nodded. She was happy that Sonic instantly guessed what she was doing. For now, she needed to find out where the rest of the bodies were inside of the empty and rundown elevator shaft so Sonic and his friends can convince Nova X to stop her evil and twisted grudge against heroes.
Sonic has returned again! Tails is also alive as well. The rest of them are gonna have to wait for their time, unfortunately. :( Dark matters so warning!! Thanks! :)
