listen to the song "my love mine all mine" by mitski as you read this story it was late at night, you had just woken up from a nightmare and you were out in the common room with a glass of cold water. you look out the window hoping to see the stars, you only saw the faint stars that were tinted by rain clouds. it wasn't long till it was pouring down raining with the occasional sound of thunder. you sat there for about an hour before you heard someone come out into the common room, heavy foot steps coming closer until a figure stepped out into the dim light of the lamp. it was Katsuki, he sat beside you before speaking. "why are you up so late..?" he asked with a tired and gruff voice, "I couldn't sleep.." you replied softly, the bags under your eyes making it visible that this wasn't new. katsuki's face was quickly overcome with annoyance, he could see your lack of sleep and he didn't like it, "why can't you sleep?" "I don't know-" he cut you off. "don't lie to me, what happened, why aren't you taking care of yourself like you used to?" you wanted to tell him but you didn't have to. he knew the answer, he just wanted you to admit it. "you don't have to tell me, but if there's a problem I want you to trust me enough to tell me." he's expression softened as his annoyance was replaced with concern and care. "it was just a nightmare.." you mumbled, just barely audible. his face softened further as he gently took your hand in his and rubbed the back of your hand with his thumb. "come get me next time dumb**s, I won't care as long as you're okay." he said softly before having you lay on his chest, you speak softly to him about your life and when you stop speaking his mutter sweet nothings until you both drift off to sleep on the common room couch... hope you all enjoyed it <3
