i think i didnt say much here - but basically, - 4th century, the Church was deciding the canon of Scripture - Church uses “recipemus”, which means we receive - Because the Church was using the phrase “recipemus”, it means that the Church didn’t create the canon, but it recognized the authority in Scripture and “received it”, therefore “recipemus”. - Roman Catholics are def gonna refute me, but I used church history this time.
