I invented a new species! (I think) Well I technically made it a few years ago so its not that new but... Anyway, I need a new name for a few of these guys because I have been using the same 'temporary' names for them. Please, I will appreciate any type of name suggestions. Just comment below. 1. - Ferntail- The first time I drew them in anyway. (Its old) -This is the name of the species. All the images are part of this species but are just different variants. DESCRIPTION: They are a type of anthropomorphic insects. They are usually lean and green, sometimes with small hints of red, purple or blue. They may have large dragonfly-like wings and long antenna. They have long tails that look like a lush fern. Some latter specimen have sharp, barb-like, projectile spines instead of soft fern... leafs?... Some have a combination of the two with soft and sharp fern ... leafs. (idk) 2. -Spinetail- I'd be fine with this name if I just had a different name for the species. - He is a 'ferntail' (yet to be changed), his fern... tail... (frawns?) are harder than every other 'ferntail'. He also can for some reason shoot them like quills. (Idk) He started the next generation of 'ferntails' with spines. 3. -Vinetail- Also a 'ferntail'. -Ok he actually does have a different name but I forgot it for a bit and just started calling him Vinetail until I found a slip of paper with his original name on it. (I'm surprised I wrote it down) His actual name is thyme... like the herb... Vinetail is just like a pet name he inherited from his father, oh wait, yeah, um Spinetail is his dad... I think I forgot to mention that. (To bad I can't possibly ever change anything before this) 4. -Vinetail Re-Mastered- (again) - To be honest I think I just made this project so that I could show off this drawing and find out how bad it actually is.
