Hello there!! I am Blake!! (he/him + xenos) I am currently 15 years old, and a digital artist. I recently came back to scratch after being reminded of it by old games i used to play, and discovered roleplaying! i stalked the this rp and their litters for a while after learning what they were, and finally decided to join one. I usually write my own characters since I find roleplaying tough, but after roleplaying in other rps I decided to toughen up and apply. Heads up I am neurodivergent which might make interactions tough, but I can assure i am a good person! Shatterkit is adorable, and I love torties, and seeing as they are the only kit not claimed, i decided to go for it. Ive decided to keep Shatterkit cis, using he/him but not minding they/them. As for orientation, Shatterkit is gay! he likes boys.... the discovery of his orientation will hopefully not be tough and im hoping he has a supporting family!! Shatterkit is the main character in his world. Nothing will stop his spirit. He usually can find himself in crazy situations and not remember how he got in them. Despite this, he can easily adjust and face any conflicts without hesitation. He is often over-the-top and hyper, rushing around almost constantly. He is very witty and thinks very fast, always coming up with funny responses. His quick thinking also makes it tough for him to explain his thoughts, as he cant talk as fast as quick as he thinks, and will often just stop talking completely when he is too far ahead of where his mouth is. He sometimes enjoys pulling the casual prank, but doesn't quite know when he goes too far. He has a great sense of humor usually, always being the entertainer. Shatterkit can suffer from intense tunnel vision, fixating on an idea and not being able to move away from it until it ends satisfyingly. His impulsiveness has never been a good thing for him. He never thinks to ask before starting things that might not be a good idea. In his heart he truly is just a cat who enjoys company, and being lonely could be horrible for him and have him fall into a depressive state. Basically, to keep him sane, he needs to interact. It doesn't matter if it's a rival or lover, he just needs someone to be with. He can be very competitive, and enjoys his competitors, even if they dont like him. He will often tease those who dislike him, and find their views on him silly. Altogether, Shatterkit is a loveable little dude who just wants to live his life to the fullest. Positive: Quick-witted Humorous Friendly Flexible Entertaining Neutral: Competitive Energetic Negative: Impulsive Hyperfixated Self-centered Oblivious Unself-aware Trivia: -Shatterkit adores insects and frequently uses them in his pranks -Despite being a RiverClan cat, Shatterkit developed a slight distaste for water. -Shatterkit's favorite kithood game is to play-fight, and will challenge those bigger than him to test his strength. -Shatterkit has a moderate western accent, his voice being high pitched. I imagine his adult voice being similar to Keiren's from rdr2 !! -Shatterkit can usually be found with a variety of trinkets in his fur, like leaves and plants and feathers. Anything that sticks, stays. -Shatterkit is very messy, and seems to never have time to groom his fur, ending up with it always looking like he had just been rolling in the sand. - Nickname ideas: [REDACTED], Atter, Red,
research on male torties: Male tortiseshells are rare in real life, being a matter of compiled genetics to somehow generate a male tortiseshell. Ive studied cat genetics for a while so I know how they can be made. Male tortiseshells are actually considered intersex scientifically, but seeing as it only affects his pelt and not anything else, he can simply be defined as AMAB. As for health, Shatterkit is more prone to congenital heart disease, urinary tract diseases, and a common genetic disorder in male torties called Klinefelter's Syndrome. I dont forsee Shatterkit being affected by any of these, but I might think differently in the future. Another common side-affect in male torties is being infertile, which, as I can't see him fathering kits in the future (something that might change), wont be much of a problem for him. His ADHD and how it affects him: I decided to give Shatterkit ADHD, a condition I personally have and since I connected my aspect of it to him, I thought it would be a good fit. His impulsivity could come from the fact he has ADHD, and it is a very common aspect of the condition. Another common symptom is his hyperactivity and seemingly endless energy. Shatterkit tends to not pay attention, his mind racing with thoughts and all of the things happening around him. Another aspect of ADHD are hyperfixations, something that Shatterkit will have for a little before it changes to something else. The hyperfixation can range from a personal project to a random object he found.
