Get, pick up, place, select target: space move: WASD active ability/don't eat/scavenge: Z see stats: Q You start with 2 sand dollars and a Giant Clam in the "live space" area. Turn actions: Draw a card by moving to the bottom right of the playable area and pressing space. place it in the "hand space" by pressing space over where you want it to be. Repeat. (if you get a disaster, put it in the disaster discard instead) Then you can choose to move a card to "live space" (costs 2 sand dollars the first time this turn, then 5, then 8 any time after that) or draw a board token (0 cost round 1 turn 1, then 2, then 5, then 10. No more than 3 per turn can be drawn) and place it somewhere on the board. Tokens with large squares in the bottom half have "storage space" which allows you to place more cards in "Live space." If you ever have more cards in live space than you have storage space, you will lose due to overcrowding your reef. Tokens with small overlapping squares in the top corner can be stacked on other tokens of the same type. End your turn by selecting the "end round" button in the top right. At round end, cards in "live space" activate. Select active ones (lighter colored) and then do what they say. If they eat something, you must select something that matches their eating requirements. You will need to make sure you have enough biodiversity and storage space as well as an empty enough discard to survive each round; round survival data shows up in the top left corner when q pressed. You win if you survive 10 rounds. You lose if you have more animals than storage, more than ten animals in discard, or not enough biodiversity.
The only reason I have to be on Scratch anymore is @shadowsapphire. I did not come up with this entire game by myself, nor did I draw the art for the back of the cards. The board game was made years ago as a team, and I only just now digitized so that I can share it with friends easier.a
