First I went out to my gelding pasture, where I'm keeping Coco and Bean while my new barn is being built [Yep- again *sigh*]. Bean was in a friendly mood today, so I decided to take him out for a ride first. I put on his halter and leadrope and led him out to be tacked up. [short bit later] I rode him around the new round pen to warm him up. He was a bit fast, probably because he's excited to be ridden again. I was going to test out the new trail with him, but decided not to when he began spooking from the wind. [short bit later] I led him back to the pasture after untacking him, and haltered Coco. He was half asleep the whole time during warmups, but when I rode him out to the trail he perked up. I think he definitely likes it! Brought him back and fed both of them treats. I love these guys <3 [Next is Moon+Cappuccino] Since both of them are stallions, I keep them in seperate pastures while the barn is being renovated. First I went out to ride Cappuccino. He was a bit spicy today when I was haltering him. Maybe that'll change once he's being ridden? [short bit later] I tacked him up in his adorable cowprint set [from Greenleaf- highly reccomend!] and brought him to the roundpen to begin warming up. Since he's an older horse and it was getting cold outside, I also put on an excercise sheet to keep him warm. He was really eager to go, so we did some free gallop for a little while until he got tired [just pretend he's galloping]. By then it had started raining, so I decided to call it a day and bring him in [totally realistic raindrops lol]. [next is Moon] I brought him to the indoor arena to check out some of the new showjumping jumps I got recently. Once he got used to them, I took him over a couple of them.
