Welcome to Lakehart Eventing's First Ever Show! In this show, we are offering five classes. All the eventing disciplines, plain eventing and an extra Western Category! The first category is Dressage. In this class, you and your horse will have to perform a dressage arrangement, and you will be judged based on your performance. For the Show Jumping class, you will have to ride around a course in an open arena. The course is full of tight turns and big obstacles, so make sure your horse is prepared! You will be judged on your speed through the course and the amount of faults you have. (Front boots are required for this class to prevent horse injuries) Next is the Cross Country Class. For this portion, you and your horse will have to ride an outdoor XC course, full of water jumps and other tricky obstacles. This class will be judged on your time to make it through the course. (Front boots are required for this class to prevent horse injuries) Next, there is eventing. In this category, you and your horse will have to do all three of the classes above. You'll have to show of your elegance in dressage, Soar over jumps in Show Jumping, and race down the XC course. You can enter in both eventing and another class! Say I entered my horse in Eventing and XC. They would do all the eventing categories, but XC twice. In this class, you will be judged based on your scores in the three eventing categories. And lastly, western. For this class, there will be a little barrel setup, as well as space for some reining. You will have to do both of these with your horse, and you will be judged on your reining skills and precision and speed barrel racing. Yes, there are prizes for this show! -If you place first in any of the categories, you will win a first place ribbon, our specialty Lakehart 'Geode' Exercise Sheet, 20 GE/HS, and a Free Breeding with one of Pond's Eventing Horses! -If you place second in any of the categories, you will get a second place ribbon, our specialty Lakehart 'Geode' English Saddle Pad and 15 GE/HS. (Wear this pad in future Lakehart Shows for prizes!) -If you place third in any of the three categories, you get a 3rd place ribbon, and 10 HS/GE! -If you don't place, you get a participant ribbon and 2 HS/GE.
