Morcumis (short for Mortificus Cucumbis) is a relative of Vermia. Morcumi live below the sand and wait for prey to swim above them. Then they lunge out of the sand to snatch them. If the teeth couldn't catch them then they use a specialized appendage (or you can simply call it a tongue) to snatch the victim, before going back into the sand and waiting for the next meal. An adult morcumis can reach anywhere from 5cm to 20cm in length, but it usually depends on different things like how much they ate.
