(i made this whole proj on mobile so it might be a little messy. let me know if there is any spelling mistakes or what not) hi! so my family and I road-tripped out so we could see the solar eclipse in totality and it was a veryyy long trip and it made me wonder if it I was worth it. it absolutely was worth it. we were lucky enough to go to a friends' family’s house and watch the eclipse with them with an amazing view. we ate lunch while the eclipse started by ourselves (just the younger kids my age) but by the time totality was abt to start everyone was out there. we were so worried about the clouds bc they were everywhere so everyone was praying for a clear view. our prayers were answered because we were some of the lucky people to see a clear view. we all waited and watched and the temperature dropped slightly. it slowly got to an awkward lighting. it wasn’t super dark but it was not super bright. but then the moon and sun matched up and it immediately darkened even more and the animals started making lots of noises and freaking out. It was such a weirdly and amazing experience I would recommend to anyone. I’m not even “too” interested in Astronomy or science like the rest of my family, but it was such a once-in-a-lifetime experience. The pictures I included in the project don’t do it justice, but since I heard many of you just got cloudy views, I would show you the pics I got. I was so sad when it was over, but those 4 minutes were the perfect amount of time. It didn’t go by too quickly and I had enough time to burn the image into my brain and appreciate it. I can’t wait till the next one and I’ll def fly or drive to wherever it is. (I think it’s in 2044 or something) credits: image: p1nterest music: niall horan "heaven"
