Her nightwing mother was killed in a battle against the icewings when she was two. Her seawing father left shortly after Coralstar was born. She grew up with her 4 nightwing brothers brothers and 3 rainwing sisters. Coralstar was the odd one out. She is a night-sea dragon. She was a star student in Jade academy, and practiced her animus powers with Anemone. She didn't like being told what to do so she left to live in the rainforest. She became best friends with Glory and Kinkojou.
