prob gonna be eaten alive for this but I'm doing this anyways. sooooo if u don't know, koreaboos r ppl in the aes community into Korean culture who use korean/asian as an aesthetic, but I have my own.....thoughts on it.... 1: overall kinda r@cist like, dude. asians/koreans are hardworking ppl! its not cool to make their race an aesthetic......like, its ok to like their culture, but they are a RACE not a fandom. I've seen multiple REAL Koreans & Asians in general talk abt this and have said that they are creeped out and grossed out by Koreaboos. again, its alr to like asian culture, like anime and kpop, but its not cool to make a race into and aesthetic.... 2: RCTAs if u don't know what these are, it stands for Race Change To Another, a lot of ppl (especially girls on Tik Tok) legit "CHANGE" their race, mainly asian races like Japanese, Korean, and Chinese. there was this one British man named Oli London, who got multiple surgerys just to look like Jimin, and identified as "Korean". Pls, be proud of who you are, don't change your race just to be "aesthetic", that's the main reason why girls do this is the first place 3: Image it gives the aesthetic community Personally, I went thru this. newer members and/or members of the aes community who aren't Koreaboos, might get the impression that they have to be a Koreaboo/use kpop idols on their stuff to be aesthetic. for a while now, I myself thought I had to add asian/korean stuff on my projs to be aesthetic, and lets be fr, the only reason i didn't become a koreaboo is because i don't like kpop. as i learned more abt this stuff and Koreaboos, i learned i don't have to use that stuff to be aesthetic. Thats all i wanna say, ty for reading this, and pls, don't hate on Koreaboos or go after them, most I've met are nice. and if u disagree with me, do so politely, if u cant, then don't say ANYTHING
