Use the sliders to adjust the wave's amplitude, frequency, and velocity. A transverse wave is a wave where the particles oscillate perpendicular to the wave direction. The transverse wave shape is made up of peaks (highest point) and troughs (lowest point). The red dot shows how an individual particle moves in the wave. The wave takes a while to show up completely.
