Amy scrounged through her closet. Today was a very special day, and she knew she would have to dress up for the occasion. She sighed in frustration. “No..No..No!” Amy had been looking for her favorite dress. The one with the rose. She blinked. It had been a while since she wore that dress. Amy then stuck her hand as deep as she could into the closet, and yanked the first thing she felt out. She let out a very happy yell, laughing. “Here it is!” She said, putting it to herself, seeing how it would fit. “A bit small, but I’m sure it’s nothing a bit of tailoring, and a sweater, couldn’t fix,” She got on her shoes and headed out to the Rabbits’ for help. (Because they obviously knew how to sew) Amy sighed. She knew today would be a good day. She nearly skipped to Cream and Vanillas’ house, but about halfway through, she heard crashes and angry yelling across the street, at Tails’ workshop, where she saw Silver darting inside, and Shadow following. Amy rolled her eyes, smiling, and then ran over to help. *** Sonic fumbled with the ring he had. Not a golden one- A finger ring. A custom ring whose diamond was a hand-carved rose, the base made of a sturdy, but delicate, metal, the inside an engraving reading "S+A". Sonic planned to give it to Amy, and finally get what he really wanted, but he was terrified. Tails gave a reassuring smile. "You are going to do great, Sonic," He said, setting down his wrench. "Amy will be coming with the treats for our Boys Night tonight, so maybe you can tell her then," Sonic looked at Tails and shook his head. "No, not then, after. But it has to be tonight." The two friends stood there silently for a while, and then there was a crash outside, and Knuckles came running in laughing, followed by Silver and the voice of a very angry Shadow. Knuckles, still laughing, though trying to quiet himself, came into the workshop and hid behind Tails' chair. Silver then ran in, and then quickly flew up to the ceiling, trying to stay out of sight. Silver was snickering. Shadow soon came darting in, huffing angrily. He looked at Sonic and Tails with a dark glare. "Where are they?" The Ultimate Lifeform growled, walking further into the workshop, starting to look for Silver and Knuckles. Then Sonic heard Amy. She ran in, with a basket, looking extremely nervous. "Shadow! Shadow calm down!" She said, coming in and trying to come between Shadow and Knuckles. "Don't beat them up for a little accident, okay?" Shadow paused. He tried to push Amy aside, but Tails stopped him. "Dude! What on Earth did Knuckles do to make you so ticked off?" Shadow glared at Knuckles for a moment, sighing irritably, and turned around. "You're lucky, Red," Shadow said, directed towards Knuckles, and he walked out of there muttering. Sonic could hear a voice outside the workshop that wasn't Shadow's. A very shy looking wolf poked her head around the corner of the door. It was Yandi, Shadow's friend. She then made eye contact with Amy. Sonic could see it there, and then, He knew what her name meant, Yandi's eyes dulling at the sight of Sonic's girlfriend. Yandi, was in fact, a yandere, And she just witnessed Shadow's desire get interrupted by Amy. *** Amy sighed. Shadow had left Knuckles alone. After getting a thumbs-up from a snickering echidna, she looked up towards the ceiling. "You alright, Silver?" Silver nodded and then flew down, smiling at her. "Never been better, thanks." The pink hedgehog smiled and then passed Tails the basket of treats. "There you go," She said, beaming. "All ready for your night tonight," She looked at the door. "Kind of a shame Shadow couldn't come tonight, though." Knuckles waved her comment off. "Probably would've been better without 'em. Go have fun or whatever, Amy.” She laughed and took her dress out of the basket. “Ima go now,” Amy quickly pecked Sonic on the cheek and walked out of the workshop. Amy shut the door behind her, sliding down it. Cream and Vanilla had successfully re-fit her dress, and she had nothing to worry about. She headed upstairs to find something to do. Amy looked around her room, looking for a book a friend had recommended to her. It was about a girl who was new in a strange school, but knew a few people there. They had been old friends. But her friends didn't remember who she was. It was about finding new friends in old relationships. Amy thought the book was interesting, so she wanted to finish it. She then remembered she had set it on the couch, where she loved to read. She headed downstairs, thinking to herself why on earth someone would write that book. She would soon find out.
*** After a nice session of reading, Amy heard a knock on the door. "Coming!" She said, running downstairs. She opened the door and grinned. Yandi stood there, smiling, carrying her bag. Something was different about her. Something was unsettling. "Oh, Yandi! Hi! Come on in!" Amy said cheerfully. Yandi held up her bag. "I thought I might bring you something, being your anniversary and everything." Amy beamed. "Yes! Oh, thank you so much! Come set it down on the table." Yandi set her bag on the table, taking the contents out and sliding them into the center of the table. There were little cakes and treats, some pavlovas, all very promising and looking extremely delicious. They smelled good too, and it made Amy happy. She smiled broadly while wiffing them. "So, Amy," Yandi said, her voice changing slightly, beginning to stare into the table. "how have you been?" Amy sat down at the table and picked up one of the pastries Yandi had brought. "Nothing much," She laughed. "Besides the whole Sonic thing," The hedgehog took a bite out of it and made a very satisfied sound. "Oh, Yandi," Amy chimed. "These are wonderful," Yandi picked up her bag and stood up, her eyes still empty and dull, and her voice having a sharp edge. "I'm glad." The wolf began to walk out the door, but the hedgehog ran up to her. "Wait, don't leave-'' Amy panted, trying to grasp Yandi's arm. Then the yandere did the most unexpected thing. She, fast as lightning, smashed Amy against the wall and clutching Amy's throat, the wall cracked and broken behind her. Amy couldn't breathe. She was grasping at Yandi's hand, trying to release the grip a little. She could feel blood begin to drip from the back of her head, Amy becoming very uneasy and her body hurting immensely. Yandi growled in a threatening voice. "You touched him!" She said, her voice cracking slightly underneath her toughness. "You almost hurt Shadow," Amy blinked. What was she talking about? Yandi's gripped tightened, and the hedgehog almost felt she would cough up blood. "No one else can make him happy. No other girl, and I can't believe you DARE TOUCH HIM," Yandi's eyes were blazing, and she lifted Amy off the wall. "I don't want you to touch him ever again, and I don't care what it takes, but I WILL make SURE THAT YOU DON'T" She smiled dangerously "Goodbye, Amelia Rose," Yandi then raised her victim up further, and Amy could hear herself start to scream silently, not being able to breathe, and then Yandi quickly smashed down again, Amy feeling her skull fracture for a split second, in pain and grasping. Then everything went black.
