He's a goofy wolf ghost who's convinced he's not dead! He died by drowning when a strange sea monster destroyed his ship. It also, erm, ate half of him, which is why his other half is made up of water! He woke up stranded on an island, where he met a strange little creature known as a "Spirit Guardian" (I will be making this fella when I'm home from school :3). These guys jobs are to watch over ghosts who died violent deaths and keep their emotions in check to prevent them from becoming corrupted vengeful spirits. Of course, Basin doesn't believe the creature when it tells him he died. Even though half of him was water, he simply convinced himself the island he was on was cursed. (which isn't wrong but not the reason he's half water...) Whilst Basin has found a way back to a new mainland, he stays on the island as he's scared of facing strangers on this land, especially with his new form. His paranoia traps him on the cursed island to this day, his only company being the Spirit Guardian and the few sea creatures that stop by out of curiosity.
