[The Woodcarver's Curse] 10 Yesterday, I found out that my sister, Eden and I had telekinesis, it was amazing! We first thought we could only make things fall, but we then found out we could lift stuff with our minds as well! It was astonishing! Today, we shared the news with Elaine, Audrey, and Rachel. They seemed impressed and jealous. “I wish I had telekinesis…” Audrey mumbled. “Maybe you do! Try levitating this pen without touching it,” I said, putting a pen on my desk. “It still doesn’t work!” Audrey cried. Then, she took the pen and her notebook and began to draw. “What are you drawing? Why are you drawing?” Eden yelled. “Sorry, I couldn’t help it! I just love drawing so much!” Audrey apologized. Suddenly, a unicorn jumped out of her notebook and began galloping around the room. “Did your drawing just…” Rachel started. “Come to life?” Elaine finished for her. "I... I think it just did!" Audrey exclaimed, a big grin spreading across her face. "Does it follow your orders?" Eden asked. "Lemme try," Audrey said as she cleared her throat. "Unicorn, fly in the air!" Surprisingly, the unicorn did as it was told. "Wow! I'll call her Penelope!" As the five friends chatted about what superpowers they would like, I had never felt happier with my friends.
