Title : DISGUSTINGLY MODDED !!!! 2007 Orona Wormdrive lift… Credit to : @RussoElevatorsInc @ZanyZarra @julotleblork_NEWV2 @Jon5432 @julotleblork_NEWV2 @julotleblork @Oronaliftfan_2009 Northern Irish Lifts for the rattly startup sound All other people who provided the assets for this lift project Specs : - Orona (Mod by Jackson Lift Group) - Built in 2007 (Modded in 2024) - 1:1 Wormdrive AC VVVF MRL traction - VF drive : Control Techniques Unidrive SP (Now Magnetek HPV900 Series 2) - Logic : Orona Arca 2 (Now Lester Controls) - Buttons : Orona Arca 2 (Now newer Dewhurst US91 EN) - Speed : 1 m/s (Now : 0.5 m/s) - Doors : Orona/Fermator - Motor : Orona Wormdrive MRL traction geared motor - Voice : Orona (Now Lester Controls) - Indicator : Red Orona Arca 2 7-segment (Now unknown LCD monochrome) - Location : A random Baldi’s schoolhouse which is lift enthusiast friendly and the facilities are located near Nottingham, UK - Floors : 6 (-2, -1, 0, 1, 2 and 3). - Pre-doors : No Positive things : - Decently fast door operator (door operators and door drive settings unchanged) - Original motor kept - Great levelling accuracy Negative things : - Ultra loud VF drive fan which ruins the epic Wormdrive motor sound - Insanely long timer delays (88 seconds) - Awful Lester Controls voice - Painfully slow 20 seconds levelling - Speed divided by 2 - Boring generic fixtures - Really bad car interior refurbishment with very dull grey painting - Door close button and pre-doors removed (what a downgrade) - This ultra bad generic mod may be really bad for the school’s reputation - Students have higher risk of being late to class which is very annoying for Baldi, Mrs Pomp and Principal of the Thing (because this lift is now so slow) - Gotta Sweep has to wait longer before sweeping the 2 basements and the 3 upper floors which annoys him - An epic Orona worm drive has been fully ruined and turned into a stupid and incredibly inefficient generic lift which although does have the new Lester Controls 2D barcode full intelligent levelling system but runs so much worse than all generic blind VF lifts BTW the other lift has a very basic silent infrared tape head instead of the full intelligent 2D barcode since that other lift is hydraulic rather than VVVF traction MRL and it broke down 3 days ago because the new valve block failed despite being brand new. It failed because it was improperly installed and it wasn’t bad quality but it was not strong enough for the oil pressure/pump (Incorrect valve block choice). This is appallingly bad, this is so bad! This one of the WORST modernizations I’ve ever seen in my life ! Congratulations, Jackson ! You will get the prize of the nastiest lift mod of the year 2024 ! But luckily, Principal of the Thing ended the maintenance contract with Jackson and signed a new contract with Orona. He asked Orona to fix and improve the hydraulic lift which broke down very recently, then improve this modded Orona and finally, add a new 1.6 m/s Orona 3G MRL traction lift. They are starting to fix and improve the hydraulic lift today and once they’re done, this modded Orona will be taken out of service until the lift technicians are done improving the lift and they will start to install the new Orona after this horribly modernized Orona lift gets improved ! BTW the original Orona was very nice but it has 2 flaws : The levelling was quite a bit slow and there was no pre-doors, but other than that it, was a very nice and reliable lift !
