Title: June throwback: 2-speed Orona wormdrive lift! Credit to @Jon5432, @Oronaliftfan_2009 and all. Here is a 2006 Orona Arca 2 wormdrive MRL traction lift installed by Hans and Schröder Lifts Ltd. It's located at a random small scale modern block of flats located near Birmingham, UK. But this lift is very odd because it has no VVVF drive! Instead, it has old style 2-speed levelling! This variant is very rarely seen in the UK but apparently, it's more common in Spain. Also, the block of flats itself was built in 2006 and it's a basic and small yet nice, modern and well-maintained mid/late 2000's building... Anyway, let's enjoy this very characterful Orona worm drive lift! Also, this lift doesn't have pre-doors which is a bit disappointing but it's OK since the levelling time is rather quick!
