Unless stated otherwise, the penalty for breaking a rule is the rulebreaking being reverted. If everyone thinks the list is fine then the mapclone will begin, since we already have all the letters. Every nation in mapclone starts off at war with every other nation. You can make peace and eventually ally though. 4. Each letternation has a small bit of safe land nobody can conquer. It is surrounded by black outline and you cannot invade there. 5. No renaming your nation: it should only be one character long. 6. You can say ae instead of æ when referring to the nation and oe instead of œ that's fine - there is no penalty for breaking rule 6 7. don't find massive islands too fast 8. don't claim land too fast 9. don't break too many rules in one project - penalty for breaking this rule: your project will be skipped 10. You can only have 2 slides per remix. 11. don't make any new nations - penalty for breaking this rule: your project is skipped 12: other remixers determine if you broke the rules or not and theyre the ones who do the penalties. if 12a: @letterclone has final say on whether you broke a rule and can allow you to break a rule. 13. no controlling animals, aliens, natural disasters, other nations, or anything else that is not your nation. 14. do not undo penalties put upon your nation for breaking rules. - penalty for breaking this rule: your project is skipped 15. the ONLY official rules are at https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1056540145/ 16. do not edit the instructions 17. do not change your safeland's size or shape 18. you cannot claim land on other islands without bordering a body of water connecting the two places 19. Invade slowly, not all at once, because fast invading is just boring - penalty for disobeying this rule is: your invasion gets reduced to a really small invasion. 20. see and the rule 20 of 20h: Runclaims don't stack 20i: you can runclaim unclaimed land 20j: You can't runclaim water 21. Do not invade without being at war with the person you are invading 21a: a runclaim does not count as a normal claim because it doesn't get rid of the claim under it. - penalty: your illegal invasion is undone 22: you can't invade a place you don't border. but, if you border a body of water that borders somewhere else, you can invade it. 22a: you can turn a runclaim into a claim on top of a warring place you dont border, as long as the runclaim got there fairly and not by teleporting. - penalty for breaking: your invasion is undone 23: no spaceships or aircraft - penalty for breaking: your rulebeaking is undone 24: no making peace or allying someone without their approval - penalty: undo rulebreaking 25: Borders are from sky level to the center of the earth. 26: Don't add any sprites or thumbnails or change the code of the backdrop. Don't delete music - penalty for breaking this rule: your rulebreaking is reverted 27: Don't delete backdrops or convert to bitmap 28: Snail = jail (explanation: ) - since there is only one planet you can't really break this one unless you blatantly time travel 29: If somebody claims a remix, wait for them to remix. If they take too long, ask them if they started remixing or not. If they take more than a day and haven't even started remixing yet, somebody else can claim. If you hit the one-day limit then in the future your limit is 3 hours. 30: Power is measured in how much land you own. 31: You can research and invent things like bombs or cars but the rules still apply - no teleporting or anything. 32: Do not change too much terrain at once 33: Do not delete a remix claim. - penalty for breaking this rule: the person who originally claimed gets the remix. 35: Absolutely no death stars. 36: You cannot change cities, terrain, or other things inside of someone else's nation - you can ask for an exception - any remixer can make exceptions for acts of war 37: Do not remix your own project, or a project by your own account 38: Every remix, at least 1 backdrop must include an action other than expanding. - penalty for breaking this rule: your project is skipped 40: only or can be ! - if you're not those accounts but are reverting OP use ? or something - penalty for breaking this rule: your actions done as ! are reverted 41: do not grief features of the map during invasion.
