I chose Song because he has such a cute face, and I had a fun time drawing him. He won’t work hard for anything, and he will think that people are just going to give things to him. He is very friendly, and smart, but he will throw a fit when he doesn’t get his way. He never apologizes, and never uses manners. So, I used this website https://www.nimh.nih.gov/health/topics/schizophrenia to determine what schizophrenia is, and what its symptoms are. Schizophrenia is a mental illness that affects how Song will think, feel, and behave. Ones that have schizophrenia may seem as though they have lost touch with reality, which can be distressing for them and for their family and friends. Schizophrenia usually involves delusions (false beliefs), hallucinations (seeing or hearing things that don’t exist), unusual physical behavior, and disorganized thinking and speech. It is common for people with schizophrenia to have paranoid thoughts or hear voices. For example, they may believe that someone is controlling their mind or going to cause them harm. These psychotic episodes are often frightening, confusing, and isolating. This would affect Song by making him see, and hear things. It could be scary to those around him, and he could have major hallucinations that could cause him harm.
