Mania, depression, and hypomania periods both last multiple days over the course of the year. They occur multiple times in a year. It is not clear on what causes bipolar, but most speculate it is a mix of environmental factors and genetics. During depression episodes, Prickle has a very depressed mood. She feels very empty, sad, and hopeless during these episodes. As well that she feels as bunch of guilt for past things and current things, whether or not it was her fault. She doesn’t have much energy during this time or motivation to do particularly anything. She doesn’t sleep well during this time and is extremely restless. During mania episodes, Prickle experiences extreme emotion. For her this means she is incredibly rageful and sensitive. But, to contradict the depression episodes, she gets way more asleep and is very restful. In fact she doesn’t feel like she needs much sleep. During this time she also has impulsive and racing thoughts, and tends to make rash decisions. Hypomania episodes are sort of similar to mania episodes. Prickle feels more euphoric than she usually does. She feels extremely motivated and, like above, she doesn’t get much sleep. She is extremely talkative during this time and tends to ramble. She feels extremely self confident and well-kept. Like mania episodes, she had impulsive thoughts and makes rash decisions. ♩ ♪ Sea grass grows in the ocean, so what if there is ocean strawberries? :0♩ Info dump:: (No stealy or I will still your cookies >:)) - Prickle is bipolar, and during manic episodes will be very rageful and angry - loves flowers - pronouns will be she/he/they/it/fae (or she/any) - as a kit, she will use she/they before changing it by apprenticeship - short fur, but prickle-like fur comes off her
