Year built: 2019. Modernised by Jackson Lift Group in 2023. Type: MRL dual-ram holeless telescoping hydraulic. Capacity: 1000 Kg or 13 Persons. Floors: 5 (*0*, 1, 2, 3 and 4). Logic: Otis Elevonic (Now Lester Controls). Fixtures: Newer Otis Series 2 (Now Dewhurst + Lester Controls). Voice: Drucegrove (Now Lester Controls). Motor: Otis HydroFit MRL submersible hydraulic pump (Now Bucher Hydraulics submersible hydraulic pump with iValve electronic valve). Doors: Otis (Now Wittur HydraPlus). Speed: 1.3 m/s (Now 0.5 m/s). Starter type: Soft starter (Now star-delta). Location: A random office building, 119 Acorn Alley, El Garcia, ST. This is the lift at a very nice and modern office building from 2019. This building used to have a bunch of cool stuff until 2023 because Jackson scammed another building owner by modding this awesome fast 1.3 m/s Otis HydroFit MRL hydro which had fast startup and levelling times, European floor numbering, Drucegrove voice and even pre-doors into a horrid cheap generic lift. They have replaced everything apart from the lift cab which got refurbished in a very dull way! Now, this lift features boring Dewhurst buttons, horrid screechy Wittur doors, a Bucher Hydraulics power unit which even though has the intelligent iValve electronic valve block, it's still very inefficient because the of the really slow 0.02 m/s levelling speed, the startup delay and this particular pump unit is so underpowered that the lift only goes 0.5 m/s. Another problem is that this pump unit has been installed so badly that a very loud cooling fan has to be turned on every time the lift moves! And the logic is an horrible nasty Lester Controls controller and the voice is the AWFUL Lester voice! And the lift was still mega healthy before it was modded as well! This is one the most unnecessary, wasteful and horrid mod ever! Thanks a lot, Jackson! GRRRRRRRRRRR! And the lift breaks down much more often now as well! Also, that new hydraulic pump is really quiet compared to the original one and it doesn't sound as good as the former pump unit! It is so quiet that the oil cooling fan is louder than the pump itself even though the pump is in the pit (MRL hydraulic)! Secondly, the fire alarm system used to be a Simplex branded PyroStop addressable system with voice evac (EST Integrity style Code 3 tone 3 times + classic EST message) and no horns and no horn/strobes until 2023 when the FA system got fully replaced with an horrid Gamewell-FCI system which uses the Notifier message which says "There has been a fire alarm reported in the building". I find that very odd and annoying at the same time (I personnally find that Notifier message annoying IMO). The tone is decent though because it's the 520 Hz Notifier code 3 tone. And this system suck because it's very unresponsive and it often has troubles despite being only about 2 years old. Thirdly, the computers which were Dell OptiPlex 5060 MT desktops and Dell Latitude 7400 laptops from 2019 have all been replaced with HP ProDesk 405 G8 mini desktops and HP ProBook 445 G8 laptops after just 4 years! The Dell's never had a single issue though and at least they got refurbished by JoeTronicRefurb. The HP's however are not as reliable. Quite a few desktops had motherboard failures and quite a few laptops had keyboard problems, 3 of them had hinge problems and 2 had motherboard failures. And these HP ProBook's seems to have fused (plastic riveted) keyboards. The Latitude's however had modular screwed-in keyboards. It's kinda sad to see that even business HP computers can be unreliable sometimes. They are not as good as Dell and Lenovo business laptops which are far more common in El Garcia. And lastly, the HVAC system which used to be a very nice Daikin system has been ripped out and replaced in 2023 with an horrid Kotori one which breaks down very often and it's either too hot or too cold in there because this new HVAC system is an absolute joke! To sum up, the building owner has been scammed like 4 times in 2023. Either he/she was a very dumb person and/or that owner was just another nasty Karen/Darren who loves to ruin other people's lives! Plus, this really nice and modern office building has been pretty much ruined!
