The rat-like feline watched as an omminous figure entered the room. He took an audible, exagurated gulp of mock fear. In truth- Worm was scared. He knew this moment could be the decider on weather he lived or died... He'd better do this right... But... Right isn't fun... Maybe he could add a hint of humor... So that this interrogation could be somewhat pleasent... His heart pounded as the first question was uttered. "Mister... Worm..." He did his best not to flinch. "Do you know why you were braught to prison?" The shady figure asked. Worm's tail wreathed around his left front paw. "W-Wouldn't it be odd if I didn't..." He tried to laugh but nothing happened. "Y-Yes, I do know." He stated more surely. Worm wondered if he should tell the scarred feline why he was here- but he figured she already knew... "Do you, or do you not, regret your crimes. Quickly this time." The interrogator commanded. "I- Do regret my crimes... It's like eating a ton of dog food, you know- fun in the moment but..." He trailed off. "Did you do the right thing?" Worm felt like he was being talked to as if he were a todler. 'Did you do the right thing?' Might as well have given him a little form to fill out. 'What will you do next time?' But what if there was no next time... "I didn't do the right thing." He replied more steadily. "Who exactly did you hurt?" Worm took a moment to comprehend the question. He didn't mean to hurt people... It wasn't his fault if they got themselfs adicted to... "P-Probably a lot of people... But- I swear! I didn't want to!" He yelped, felling a ball form in his throat. ... "Do you think that you're guilty... or innocent...?" ... What kind of question was that- of caurse, if a prisoner wanted to live they'd say 'Innocent' But what if they didn't really believe that. Cats could say innocent all they wanted but it doesn't matter what they say if it isn't true... ... "I'm waiting." ... On the other hand- if a cat said guilty... Well... ... "Innocent..." Worm replied, wondering if he'd regret it. The figure nodded curtly. "Almost done. A few more questions." Said the interrogator. "What was your reasoning for commiting the crimes you did?" Worm sighed. "Family troubles." He stated bluntly, forcing the tears to remain in his eyes. "Verywell. You are free to go back to your cell." THE WARDEN made a shooing motion. Worm's tail unravled from around his leg and he tiptoed out of the small, dark room and back to the Eastern Cell. "Sorry... Warden..." He mummbled uselessly as he exited the room.
