Welcome to the Eventing Competition! This isn't quite an eventing competition (a horse riding competition which includes dressage, cross-country, and show jumping) but it combines cross-country and show jumping. This competition is a more difficult version of my last horse games, cross-country and show jumping competition, created to be a new challenge for the riding champions of those games. That's why the rider has a fancy red jacket! If you got first place in cross-country and show jumping, this game is for you. But, even if you haven't quite gotten there or haven't played those games, feel free to give yourself a challenge anyway. - Controls - Right arrow key to gallop forward Up arrow key to jump Hint: use both to jump over the fences If you hit an obstacle, you receive a fault. Since it is a more difficult game, I have given you 8 faults. Once you hit 8 faults, however, you are disqualified. However, if you finish all 5 courses in under 7 faults, you place. Depending on how many faults you had when you finish, the placement changes (for example: 1st place, 2nd place, 3rd place etc.). The placing system is as follows: If you finish with: 7 faults - 8th place 6 faults - 7th place 5 faults - 6th place 4 faults - 5th place 3 faults - 4th place 2 faults - 3rd place 1 fault - 2nd place 0 faults, aka a "perfect run" - 1st place! If you get 1st place (it is possible, don't worry! I have gotten it many times), you become the new eventing champion of the game and your username will be displayed until someone else claims the throne by getting 1st place! The game is hard. It's meant to be. But if you keep trying, I promise you, you will be the new champion. Below are course-by-course tips!
