"If a boat comes near me, I'm going to sh00t it." - My cousin playing VR =+=+=+= "If a boat comes near me, I'm going to SH00T it!" Martyn screamed, holding his crossbow up. Cherri bent over laughing, and Jimmy stifled a giggle. "It's not funny! I'm actually going to expl0de if another ship tries to k!ll us!" Their ship, the Solidarity Firewood, was rocking in the waves that battered it. Cherri ran to the wheel. "Carp! Martyn, the waves are knocking us around like a ping pong ball!" Martyn grimaced and grabbed Jimmy's arm and pulled him over to the mast. "Jimmy please just handle it! I have to watch the other boats!" Jimmy nodded and grabbed a rope, while Cherri wrestled with the wheel. A splatter of water hit Martyn's cheek and he groaned. "Cher, we got rain! Storm's blowing in!" Jimmy yelled something indistinguishable and pointed at the horizon. "There's something coming!" Martyn yelled. "But I can't see the horizon very well!" "HATSUNE MIKU?!" Cherri yelled, while Jimmy looked confused and Martyn looked cross. The 'something' came out of the fog. "A FREAKING SHIP!" Martyn hollered over the wind. He aimed at the boat and fired. =+=+=+= Melody's turn! "That's a diva coconut." -My friend @Celeste_Yellow =+=+=+= “That’s a diva coconut,” Cherri observed, and she wasn’t wrong. Aboard the rapidly approaching ship was none other than a sentient coconut dressed in a stunning Hatsune Miku outfit, complete with the blue hair and all. How on earth this was possible, Martyn had no idea. The Watchers kept making these Life Series gimmicks weirder and weirder. After twenty years in the Life Series, he shouldn’t be surprised. They had started rather normally, with Third Life and Last Life and so on, but by the time they had reached Duck Life, Plushie Life, and now Sea Life, he had lost all hope of anything being coherent. They all just put up with it at this point. Martyn was fairly sure the Watchers had lost their minds by now. “What on EARTH?!” Jimmy yelled over the storm, which was quickly rolling in. Martyn watched as his arrow soared through the sky toward the unfamiliar ship and embedded itself in its deck, right in front of the Miku coconut’s feet. Apparently that was a mistake, because the Mikunut whipped its head up to stare straight at Martyn before singing a very loud, terrifying, yet beautiful note that sent a shiver down all of their spines. Suddenly, what seemed like a hundred Mikunuts emerged from the depths of the ship, jumped into the water, and began swimming towards the Solidarity Firewood. “Oh my gosh!” Jimmy yelled. “What the-?!” Cherri exclaimed. “SAIL AWAY!” Martyn screamed, and ran to grab the wheel from a stunned Cherri. He wrestled the wheel in the opposite direction of their pursuers, but it was too late. Dozens of Mikunuts had somehow swam all the way to the Firewood- through the storm!- and had already climbed onto the deck. Martyn suddenly felt the ground yanking out from under him as several Mikunuts slammed into his side, knocking him to the soaked and slippery floor. The ship rocked harshly in the wind, making him feel sick. “MARTYN!” Cherri yelled, starting to run towards him but becoming overrun by Mikunuts within seconds. “CHERRI!” he yelled back, before a sharp pain crashed into his skull. He cried out as his vision failed him for a moment. The world started to spin around him, and he vaguely thought that this was not how he wanted to lose his yellow life. The last thing that he saw before the darkness overtook him was Jimmy being struck on the side of the head and knocked out. Rage bubbled up inside Martyn, but only for a moment before his eyelids became far too heavy to keep open and he slipped into unconsciousness as well. “...Martyn?” It was Cherri’s voice. Groaning, Martyn opened his eyes to find himself not dead, but lying on the ground with Jimmy and Cherri watching over him. Taking in his surroundings, Martyn sat up. “Where… are we?” =+=+=+= This is the weirdest thing I have ever written I am so sorry YOU'RE NEXT HAHAHA
