Thought it would be fun to redo this after a few years :) - QUESTIONS: 1. To start off, how long have you been creating art for? · I've been drawing seriously for 6 years now! 2. Do you consider yourself a beginner artist? · Nah, I know a lot, but I'm nowhere near a professional lmao 3. How often do you draw? · Nearly everyday, but it's not often actual fleshed out drawings. 4. What mediums do you have experience with? · Digital, traditional, stitchwork, writing, and (kind of) painting. 5. What's your favorite medium? · Digital, 100%. Way easier, for me anyways. 6. What was the last thing you created/drew? · a birthday drawing for myself for funnies 7. What's your favorite thing to draw? · My silly little ocs (so I guess, people, anthros, and the occasional feral) 8. Favorite color / color combination? · PINK AND YELLOW MY BELOVED.... 9. Least favorite color / color combination? · brown and red... 10: What, in your opinion, is a feature that defines your artstyle? · probably my faces (basic answer, but yk it's pretty distinct 11. Do you prefer digital or traditional art? · Digital 12. Do you flip your canvas, if you draw digitally? · Not really, unless I'm drawing something symmetrical. 13. Vector or Bitmap? · Bitmap, usually. 14. What's your favorite digital art app [and brush]? · Going strong w Kleki to this day, great program (and I like the pixel/halftone brush) 15. How do you protect your art from theft? · Watermarking. 16: Do you allow recoloring of your work? Tracing? · I don't tolerate either. If you must trace, just keep it private. 17. Are you okay with people reposting your original art with credit? · usually, but it's only if I properly know the person or it's their character (and I get credit, duh) 18. Do you feel comfortable with people referencing your art? How heavily? · I'm cool with people referencing my stuff, I honestly find it super flattering! But nothing too heavy. 19. Do you have a main OC / persona? Who are they? · Yeah, I have Mayhem and Mercury. I sometimes just draw myself though. Mayhem and Mercury mostly represent my online self, so I'll just use my real self if I feel I need to be real about something :)
QUESTIONS [continued]: 20. Halfway there- how many OCs do you have? · Somewhere in the 30s-40s - some of them are just unpublished or still in the works. 21. Do you draw fanart? If so, for which fandom[s]? · Sooo much. I usually draw Generation Loss, but I've been drawing a *lot* of Dark Carnival lately. 22. Name an aspect of art that you're really good at. · I'm good at facial expressions and composition 23. Name something you'd like to improve on in your art. · Backgrounds 24. What are your favorite and least favorite parts of your artistic process? · Favorite part is rendering, least favorite is color :( 25. Who or what inspires you? · Fellow artists and collab stories! 26. Name 3 [or more!] of your favorite artists. 1: - god they are so talented!! am I a little biased, yea, but still, i love his style and its colors!!! 2: @.cedartreetea on TH - another friend, but still, he's so talented! I personally am a huge fan of her rendering and comics, the way she renders gore??? masterpiece 27. Is there an artist that you think deserves more recognition? Who? · CEDARTREETEA. I AM BIASED BUT CEDAR YOU DESERVE SO MANY MORE FOLLOWERS 28. Are you into animation? · I dabble, but it pisses me off most of the time 29. Are you considering art as a future career or part-time job? If so, what kind? · Nope. Want to, but no. 31. What tips or advice would you offer to a beginner artist? · TRUST. THE. PROCESS. Your dream project will never come to life if you don't do the hard bits. In the words of tmblr, "Reasons to make bad art: 1. You won't draw anything if you don't." 32. Do you listen to anything while you draw? If so, what? · I try to listen to stuff that's on theme to what I'm drawing, so it really varies. 33. Do you sell your art online, in person, or at all? · Not yet, I hope to in the future! 34. What are your go-to art materials? · my drawing tablet or my trusty laptop! 35. Do you prefer drawing humans or animals? · GUHH idk. I love things abt both... 36. Painting or sculpting? · Painting. 37. Who is your favorite classical artist? · Salvador Dali, Piet Mondrian, and Claude Monet 38. Do you prefer realism, semi-realism, or cartoon? · Semi-realism and cartoons for the win 39.
