Oh wow, what a delightful way to celebrate my 250th project (Sarcasm)! Once again, yet another epic lift has been HORRIDLY MODERNIZED! This was a RARE 2007 Kone Ecodisc MRL traction which is bottom drive and had a white car indicator! But now, it's a piece of trash generic Otis lift with Wittur HydraPlus doors, Dewhurst buttons, ACME indicator and Lester Controls logic! BLAEERRGHHH! This lift runs like complete utter trash now and the new Magnetek VF fan is insanely loud! And turns out, this one is actually the least trash lift in the whole hospital. Because in this hospital which was very heavily renovated and extended in 2006-07 (This hospital was originally built in 1964 and had Otis Lexan lifts but they all got completely replaced with Ecodiscs), the lifts were all Kone Ecodiscs MRL traction lifts from 2006-2007. Most of them had MX10 and MX20 motors. But a few had MX06 motors and just one Ecodisc is a bottom-drive one (The lift in this project). But then, they all got either got modernized or replaced with horrible generic trash between 2022 and 2025! One of them has even been replaced with a Kotori MR roped hydraulic thing with IMEM logic! I rode this lift just because it's the bottom-drive one! This Ecodisc is located in the multimedia library section of the hospital (Yes, this hospital has it's own library). Also, not only the lifts got completely ruined but the fire alarm systems, some of the PC's and some of the hand dryers have also been replaced with pure garbage! Let's start with FA system, which used to be a Siemens one from 2007. It has recently been fully replaced with Gamewell-FCI rubbish! Also, this hospital originally had 2007 Dyson Airblade hand dryers. Only 7 of them have not been replaced yet. But most of them got replaced with Mitsubishi Jet Towels in 2021. But the oldest dryer replacement happened in 2017, because one of the Airblades died of PCB failure after 10 years of use and it got replaced with an Xlerator. Then, in 2024, more replacements occured. And this, time, oh dear! They're using HORRID PHS Airstream Whisper trashcan dryers! ULTRA YUCK! And finally, the PC's which are some very nice Lenovo ThinkCentre M710s, M720q, M920t, ThinkStation P20 tower, ThinkPad T470, T470p, T480, P51, P52 and Dell OptiPlex 390, 990, 7020, 7050, 3060, 5070, 7080 (Both MT and SFF models), Precision T1600, T7600, T1700, 5820, 7920 (Desktops and towers), Precision M4600, M4700, M3800, M4800, M6800, 5520, 3520, 5520, 7520, 5530, 7530, 5540, 7540, 3550, 7560 (Laptops) and Latitude E6510, E6520, E7470, 7480, 7490, 7400, 5400, 5501, 5310 and 5410. They're currently being replaced with brand new cheap, low-quality and awful HP trash with slow Intel Celeron CPU's, apart from the workstations which are been replaced with refurbished Dell Precision 7670 and 7780 laptops and new Lenovo ThinkStation P-series desktops which are fairly OK. At least the Mitsubishi HVAC system from 2007 is still original and works flawlessly!
