Today marks a very bittersweet day for scratch comics… If you haven’t heard, eternal apprentice is not going to continue to be posted on scratch. Meadow (the comic’s creator) announced this in the most recent chapter. I know some people might say, “oh what’s the big deal- it’s just a comic” and to that I say no. it. isn’t. This comic- eternal apprentice- was not just any comic, it was a masterpiece. It brightened so many people’s day with meadow’s amazing art and storytelling. Meadow is one of my biggest inspiration when I decided to make cat tails. Without eternal apprentice, I don’t think I would have made it through these past few years. Look, the point I’m trying to make is that well- this comic is important. I just want to say, from the depths of my soul- thank you meadow. Thank you so so so much. We all will miss you greatly. This comic changed lives and this comic will continue to do so in a far away land. Where those lands are?- I don’t know, but I know I’ll find it one day when I least expect it…
Here is my comment on meadow’s account “This was-if not-one of the most meaningful scratch comic’s I have ever seen. This comic kept me going through some really hard years.I can’t even put into words how thankful I am for this comic. This might be a bittersweet moment, but I will never forget waking up every Monday to read another chapter.Thank you meadow-thank you for brightening so many people’s lives and giving us this beautiful story.I wish you the best in life and hope that wherever you go, you succeed.Thank you - @galaxydog5614”
