Just enjoy the TAS. Press any key to start it. If it seems like it has desynced, just restart the project and it should work.
Thanks to @KlimbRio1 for help with savestates. I did all the TAS code myself though. I'm probably going to make a bunch of these now. I found a time save in level 5, which saves a little under .3 seconds (.297 to be precise.) The route now gets a strawberry too!
