Nymphia stood in her sleigh, waiting for the parade to begin. She didn't really want to sit because- oh, how pretty her outfit was! She hadn't worn a dress in... a little under a year? Definitely not since Chimeran had fallen ill. How she missed her youngest brother. She hoped he wasn't too lonely. Pegasu and Cyclop had been really distant since Chimeran had fallen ill. She really hoped they were spending time with him. They probably were though. Waving away those thoughts, Nymphia started to admire her dress once more. She had some fairly nice dresses at home, but nothing like the fashion in the capitol. This was definitely the most gorgeous dress she had ever worn. The sleeveless dress was mainly white, but slowly transitioned into a light blue on the skirt. Golden nets also came down from where the skirt started. The accessories were really pretty too. She had a gold shell-shaped clip near her ear, with blue semi-transparent fabric coming off of it. Her normally emerald- colored bow was replaced by a gold one. Golden nets and blue semi-transparent fabric were also wrapped around her two front paws. Finally, gold paint was painted on to the white parts of her fur mimicking the pattern of scales, and down her left ear like blood. Nymphia got why her stylist did the scale pattern- as a callback to her home of District 4, same with the shell clip and nets. However, she was a little confused with the paint on her ear. Maybe the stylist was trying to make her more fierce? But... that wasn't really her. Nymphia snapped out of her thoughts, noticing the first sleigh beginning to move. The parade was starting. As her sleigh started to move, the faint cheers she had been hearing grew louder and louder. As she spotted cats of the Capitol, she began to wave. "Hello everyone! I'm Nymphia Drift from District Four!" Wow, everything was so pretty and festive! It made her remember something. Perhaps she could add to the festivity? The capitol might like that. But mostly, it was for her family- if they saw a broadcast of this, they'd know she still was keeping them in her thoughts- even far away, possibly facing her death. Nymphia began to sing carols, ones she had been taught when she was little. As she did, the gold details- the bow, the nets, the paint- began to glow. She continued to sing the carols, until she neared the end of the parade. She gave a small bow, and called out to the crowd, "Thank you!" The excitement of the crowd almost made her not notice a single tear falling to the ground. From her, for her family and the memories she had with them.
Might do a drawing later... Will be on vacation first though!
