Brand: Schindler. Model: 3300. Year: 2014. Type: MRL traction. Capacity: 1000 kg or 13 persons. Fixtures: ACME display + Dewhurst button. Speed: 1 m/s. Voice: Stentorgate female UK voice. Floors: 6 (0, 1-5). Logic: Schindler Bionic. Doors: Fermator. Location: Undisclosed offices, El Garcia, ST. Maintenance company: M+R Colitas since Dec. 2025 (Was Schindler from 2014 to late 2025). This building opened on June 29th of 2014. Here we come to yet another very weird lift. It's a 2014 Schindler 3300 MRL but it's got generic ACME display, Dewhurst buttons and the Stentorgate voice! There must have been a lot of budget cuts when they installed it because a 3300 is already very cheap and has poor build quality! Also, the VFD fan is really loud because unlike most 3300's, it's programmed to run at full speed as soon as the lift starts moving which does remind me of Omron VF drives... So yeah, it's still a pretty bad lift... But hey, at least it's less boring than a Lester generic and does have full intelligent levelling which is really nice! Also, this lift is maintained by M+R by Colitas and of course, they had nothing better to do other than to slap in their stupid chime which plays every time the doors opens! But at least, this building does have a pretty interesting Siemens fire alarm system with SIGCOM addressable pulls and SpectrAlert Advance speaker strobes and remote strobes also installed in 2014. The hand dryers are also some 2014 Dyson Airblade V units. The HVAC is a Daikin system from 2014 as well. And finally the computers were Dell Latitude E5440 laptops with 4th Gen i5, 8 GB of RAM, 320 GB 5400 RPM HDD and Windows 7 Pro as well as some Dell Optiplex 3020 Micro desktops also with 4th Gen i5, 8 GB RAM, 320 GB 5400 RPM HDD and Windows 7 Pro as well bought new in 2014. These were all replaced in Dec. 2021 with HP 250 G8's with Intel Pentium, 8 GB RAM, 256 GB SSD and Windows 11 due to the HDDs becoming slow and to being incompatible for Windows 11. These have already been replaced with refurbished Lenovo ThinkPad T495's with AMD Ryzen 5 Pro, 16 GB RAM, 256 GB SSD and Windows 11 in Feb. 2025 due to hinge and logic board problems after less than 4 years! That just shows how disgusting the quality of these low-cost HP business laptops actually is... And this is the end of the description!
