(Man, my handwriting sucks, oh well) 1. To start off, how long have you been creating art for? · I think I've been drawing since elementary school, I'm not entirely sure. 2. Do you consider yourself a beginner artist? · Not entirely, I normally say I'm an intermediate-ish level artist 3. How often do you draw? · It varies a lot depending on my mood, at most some doodles throughout the day, or if I'm motivated, digitizing a traditional art piece the whole day. 4. What mediums do you have experience with? · digital, pencil/paper 5. What's your favorite medium? · pencil/paper for sure 6. What was the last thing you created/drew? · a scene redraw from a comic found here on Scratch. It's called Academy of Kingdoms. 7. What's your favorite thing to draw? · Most definitely my slime in different positions/angles. 8. Favorite color / color combination? I don't know 9. Least favorite color / color combination? · Again, I don't know (It's not something I've paid attention to) 10: What, in your opinion, is a feature that defines your artstyle? · If there is one, I don't know what it is, most of my art has just been recreating things I've seen. You can go though my art and see, I'm just not sure. 11. Do you prefer digital or traditional art? · traditional 12. Do you flip your canvas, if you draw digitally? · No 13. Vector or Bitmap? · I didn't know what either meant until now, but I use bitmap 14. What's your favorite digital art app [and brush]? · I use an app called HiPaint, I normally use the pen brush 15. How do you protect your art from theft? I've never really done anything to prevent things like that, but if I did, I would do some watermarks or signatures on the art. 16: Do you allow recoloring of your work? Tracing? · I wouldn't really want people to recolor my work, and I don't mind tracing that much. As long as they credit me, I'm okay with it. 17. Are you okay with people reposting your original art with credit? · Yeah, definitely, as long as I have credit. I'm not really known on this website, so it'd be nice to have more people know about me. 18. Do you feel comfortable with people referencing your art? How heavily? · Yeah, I dont mind at all, some of my art was drawn by using a pose base as reference, so it would be much of a difference. 19. Do you have a main OC / persona? Who are they? I consider my slime as my persona, the one I drew and the one in my PFP. It's pretty basic, but it's the one that I like.
20. Halfway there- how many OCs do you have? · Drawn? Just the slime. Written? A whole lot more. 21. Do you draw fanart? If so, for which fandom[s]? · I would be open to drawing some more fanart, so far the only one I've done was just some Hollow Knight art of the Knight and it's Shade, pretty basic. 22. Name an aspect of art that you're really good at. · I've noticed that I'm pretty good at drawing still life with just shading. 23. Name something you'd like to improve on in your art. · More or less everything, I really want to draw my OC's, but I don't know how 24. What are your favorite and least favorite parts of your artistic process? I really enjoy sketching it out traditionally, but I think it's a pain to digitize it and color it. Looks great in the end, but still a bit of a pain. 25. Who or what inspires you? · Other artists, and a desire to improve 26. Name 3 [or more!] of your favorite artists. 1: @ItsXPert - her art is so beautifully drawn, everything from the characters to the lighting, everything is done so professionally. 2: @52Blue - the background art she has is done so well, and all of her designs are extremely realistic while also maintaining a cartoony sense to it. 3: @Animatic_Addict - I love their art and story, it's really well thought out and done amazingly. I ended up getting inspired by them to start posting art on here. 27. Is there an artist that you think deserves more recognition? Who? · I can't really think of anyone, all the artists I follow are really well known anyways. 28. Are you into animation? · Yep, I really want to try animation, but I don't have any experience to do so. 29. Are you considering art as a future career or part-time job? If you have something else in mind, what is it? · I'm going into the music field with a minor in Creative Writing so that I can be a songwriter and author. I would still like to draw, but it'd be more like a hobby than a part-time job 30. Do you take [or have you taken] art classes? If so, what kind? · Yeah, I took three art classes: 2D art, 3D art, and digital info tech, which was just drawing using Adobe apps. 31. What tips or advice would you offer to a beginner artist? · Keep practicing, dont give up, find what you enjoy drawing and expand on it, eventually moving on to other things. Definitely make sure that you dont let any perfectionism stop you from drawing, just focus on making it exist first, and then you can worry about the details. 32. Do you listen to anything while you draw? If so, what? · I normally just listen to my normal Spotify Playlist. 33. Do you sell your art online, in person, or at all? · I've never sold any art whatsoever. But it's not a bad idea. 34. What are your go-to art materials? · Pencil and paper traditionally, and just my phone and a stylus digitally. 35. Do you prefer drawing humans or animals? · I lean more towards drawing animals, I dont have much experience with drawing humans. 36. Painting or sculpting? · Painting 37. Who is your favorite classical artist? · I don't really have one 38. Do you prefer realism, semi-realism, or cartoon? · I'm more of a cartoon, with some occasional semi-realism 39. What brand is your sketchbook? · I have a Pentalic Travellers sketchbook, it's where I do most of my art.
