scratch was wonderful joined 4 years, 6 months ago as of writing I'm not really QUITTING scratch, just that I'll stop posting. The reason for this is that scratch's new TOS says that they're gonna be using shared projects to train AI. For this reason, i am un-sharing my passion projects. I will still be working on other passion projects behind the scenes. If you'd like to interact, still please do. Scratch has been a wonderful website for me, it allowed me to use my brain to the fullest and became a really fun, yet distracting place. (I liked it because of that, lol.) If you are a tech-bro who actively defends AI and is JUST ABOUT TO TYPE TEN PARAGRAPHS, remember that it's all gonna get deleted if it's made for the sake of insulting me. For those who don't know why i don't support AI.. 1. The amount of water it uses. Yes, it might be a tablespoon or a few for each generation, but for how many people is contributing and using it, that's gallons per day in total. Regarding the water cycle, that takes a few days to a hundred thousand years at max. 2. Theft. AI does "theft" in many ways. ..In one, that's art-stealing. (sigh, yes, i shouldn't have drawn allat for this.) Many people purposefully feed art to AI, and that's basically just theft. The AI stores that in it's database. permanently. This also applies to voice acting, etc. 3. ..Generation. Well, this is kinda obvious. The AI uses stolen art from it's database, or primarily, the image that was fed. Another reason why i hate this is because it's unecessarily and scarily realistic. It can make fake videos of someone doing something weird enough to get them wrongfully arrested, and even more. It's just weird. Okay, I'm done. See you all.
