Raven's eyes widened as she saw Chase board the bus. She looked away at the window and hoped he might sit nearby or far away. Maybe she could talk to Chase sooner than she thought. He got on the bus and sat nearby. The bus started to move and they started riding to school. When the bus slowed, Raven got off as quick as she could and rushed into the school, clutching her backpack. The bell rang and she ran into class. She caught her breath and sat down. She sat near a window which was nice because ravens and crow's loved being around her...She still doesn't know why. Kids rushed into the classroom but none of them were Chase. Raven felt a bit relieved. But then math class started.
