THE lilypad Species name: Umbrellogalga nymphaea Common name: Parachute Nestingleaf Niche: Producer size: The size of a small bush. Description: Relatives of the Forestleaf that evolved to stay high up in the surface of the water, usually staying in oceans, as staying closer to land would give them less nutrients, grown Parachute Nestingleafs constantly drop saplings that group together until they separate to grow, once a Parachute Nestingleaf runs out of saplings, it separates itself of the nest and sinks into the ground, not decomposing due to the lack of fungi, with it's fate being, well, eaten. The nest keeps swimming, and if; luckily; it isn't eaten, it swims to the surface to grow into a distributing nestingleaf (we'll talk about that in a different project) that distributes nests to Parachute Nestingleafs.
