Use it like a real lift. Warning: Loud sounds and flashing lights! Description part 2: Also, the computers were 2011 Dell OptiPlex 990 MT, OptiPlex 990 SFF, OptiPlex 790 MT, OptiPlex 790 SFF, OptiPlex 390 MT, OptiPlex 390 SFF, Latitude E6420, Latitude E6520, Precision M4600 and Precision T1600 laptops and desktops with at least 2nd Gen Intel Core i5 CPU's and 4 GB of RAM. They all came with Windows 7 Professional. They have all been replaced in September 2025 with some refurbished Dell Latitude 5410, Precision 7550, OptiPlex 7080 MT and Precision 3440 SFF units from 2020/2021 due to age and Windows 11 requirements, even though they were all upgraded with SSD's and more ram. They all have at least 10th Gen Intel Core i5 CPU's, 16 GB of RAM and 256 GB NVME SSD's. And lastly, the HVAC system is still the original Daikin system from 2011 and the hand dryers are all 2011 Dyson Airblades and 2015 Dyson Airblade V's.

Brand: Kone. Model: MonoSpace 700. Year: June 2011. Modernized by Bimo Lifts in May 2026. Type: MRL traction. Capacity: 1000 kg or 13 persons. Top speed: Reduced to 1 m/s (Was 2.5). Fixtures: White Dewhurst + White ACME display (Used to be white KSS Design D40). Serial number: Unknown. VF drive: Magnetek HPV 900 AF (Was Kone). Motor: Kone EcoDisc MX20. Doors: Wittur HydraPlus (Was Kone AMD). Pre-doors: No. Logic: Lester Controls (Was Kone LCE). Voice: Lester Controls (Was Spanish-English Kone). Floors 12: (-2, -1, 0, 1-9). Emergency phone: Safeline (Was Kone). Door sensors: Memco full-height beam sensors. Maintenance company: Bimo Lifts. Location: The Cobalt Tower (TG's tallest building), 18 Blewburton Avenue, Thornwick Grove, ST. This is one of the WORST lift mods I've seen in a very long time! This lift used to be a top of the range 2.5 m/s Kone MonoSpace 700 MRL traction lift with glass doors and Kone KSS D40 fixtures. This lift was put in service on June 20th of 2011. Unfortunately, the lift got modded by Bimo Lifts in May 2026 using Dewhurst buttons, ACME display, Lester Controls voice and logic, Magnetek HPV 900 Axial Flux VF drive, non glass Wittur HydraPlus car doors and a very ugly cab refurbishment. They also added a cringe audio player too! The lift is now slowed down to 1 m/s, has slow levelling and no more pre-doors! Thank you Bimo! This lift is located at The Cobalt Tower, aka Thornwick Grove's tallest building. This tower is a mixed use building which features an InterContinental 5-star hotel and some Lennox (HVAC company) offices. This very very posh building opened on September 3rd of 2011! The offices floors are floors 0 to 4 and the hotel floors are floors 5 to 9. Floors -1 and -2 are technical areas. This place has 3 "main lifts to all floors" and are all the same (Ruined MonoSpaces). They used to be a set of 3 but after the Bimo mods, they're no longer a set. These lifts are located in the "main hall" and are lifts number , and . The offices have 3 dedicated lifts which are all 2011 1.6 m/s non-glass Kone MonoSpace 700 MX10 MRL traction lifts with KSS D20 fixtures which just like the 3 main lifts have sadly been horribly modernized by Bimo Lifts in May 2026 with Lester! BLERGH! And once again, these lifts were in a set of 3 and since the mod, they're not in a set anymore! These lifts serve floors -2, -1, 0, 1, 2, 3 and 4. These are lifts number , and and they have 1000 kg/13 persons capacity! The hotel lifts are a set of 2 glass 1 m/s 2011 Orona Arca 2 wormdrive MRL traction lifts with 1000 kg or 13 persons capacity. Plus a single 2011 glass Orona Arca 2 dual-ram 1 m/s roped hydraulic lift the motor room at floor 9 and 1600 kg/21 persons located at the back of the hotel zone and this lift is labeled "swimming pool lift". The hydraulic motor is a GMV T4 pump unit with the GMV 3010 mechanical valve. The 3 lifts serve floor 5 to 9 and are lifts number , and . Unfortunately, all 3 Orona's have been modernized in December 2025 by Jackson Lift Group with Dewhurst buttons and Lester Controls displays and logic! YUCK! On the 2 Orona MRL lifts, Jackson Lift Group replaced the VF drives with Magnetek ones and unlike the Bimo-modded MonoSpace EcoDiscs, the 2 Orona's are still in a set after the mod and they haven't replaced the car doors with Wittur HydraPlus! Jackson didn't refurbish the lift cabs of the Orona's too! Also, on the solo Orona, Jackson kept the pump unit and it still starts up the same way as it did before the mod but slower (Star-delta). The 2 MRL's had Control Techniques Unidrive SP VF drives and all of them had the nice Arca 2 LCD display inside as well as red Arca 2 dot-matrix landing displays on floor 5 and red Arca 2 7-segment landing displays on floors 6 to 9. That's a very unique combination of indicators! And since the mod, these are locked off too, so I can't take a look at the Orona's, plus this place is full of Karens and Darrens (The building manager is a Darren who requested Jackson to mod the Orona's in 2025 and Bimo to mod the Ecodiscs in 2026). Also, the 3 office lifts are also restricted. All lifts in the building are maintained by Bimo (The Ecodiscs were maintained by Kone until 2026 and the Orona's were maintained by Orona until 2025, then Jackson until 2026). Also, the fire alarm system of the building used to be a nice Siemens FireFinder XLS but it got replaced with Gamewell-FCI in Dec. 2023! Part 2 of the description is in "Instructions".
