FYI: This game will not work well if you have 2-3 other windows open on your computer, or even just one large site that bogs down computers easily. Even if I have only Spotify open along with Scratch, it majorly slows everything down and causes things to act up. There's a chance it's just my computer, as it is VERY slow and has a lot of programs on it, but this is a warning just in case. Please be patient with the project if it decides to be glitchy on you! :) Also costumes could go haywire if you go to the specialty shop, buy a costume, then buy a costume from one of the other shops... It's because of slowness I think. INSTRUCTIONS: Use the arrow keys on your computer keyboard to navigate. When your animal touches one of the dark teal (bluish green) arrows around the habitats, you will be transported to a different habitat (e.g., if you touch the dark teal arrow going up the tree in the Jungle, you will "climb" the ladder to the Treetop.). There are over 20 habitats to explore! Experiment by making your animal touch different arrows to go different places. You will see variously colored boxes that say "Sale!" on them. Click one to see the costumes you can buy for no cost (there is no currency)! After you decide which one you want to try out, click the number key listed next to the costume to purchase it. Then, you can travel around wearing your stylish new outfit! Click the orange button in the top righthand corner to speed up your animal, so you can navigate speedily. Click the blue button with the pink and the indigo silhouettes (in the bottom righthand corner) to change your animal, then click the associated letter key on your computer keyboard to change into it. There are 4 realistic animals from which to choose: Leopard, Mallard, Raccoon and Dingo. Hover your mouse over the blue button with the neon green-yellow silhouette (also in the bottom righthand corner) and press the arrow keys on your keyboard to change the color of your animal, without affecting the costume. Costumes are from the following categories: The Beatles, The Carol Burnett Show (1968-1979), The Karate Kid (1983), Jesus of Nazareth (1977), Secondhand Lions (2003), Miss Potter (2007), Moulin Rouge! The character you see on the cover is Denny Houdini, the mascot I made for Universal Habitat. If you're interested in getting the costume of him, it will be coming around along with Ringo Starr in the Specialty Shop (in the Street habitat) every July, so unfortunately you won't be seeing it again until July 2022. However, two various costumes will be available each month in the Specialty Shop for you to enjoy!
