1,2& 3 for roars family: horribilidae (this is not based on their formidable appearance, this is based on the sound) ------------------------------------------------------------------------Horridum Terribilus is a species of 12-16 foot tall, 33-40-foot long, carnivorous creature native to the savanna of southern Tarwen. they can live up to 30 years and they weigh about 1,744-2,016 pounds and can eat 64 pounds of food a day. however horridums are rather slow, and prey is hard to catch. they have two huge humps on their shoulders to help with this. they have a bite force of 3,120 PSI and can roar up to 228 decibels (however, they only roar like this in mating rituals). BEHAVIOR & MATING HABITS ------------------------------------------------------------------------ a mated pair will build a nest together by digging a hole in the ground with their large claws. these nests are 5 feet deep and 20 feet in diameter, Horridum Terribilus are born without humps and wait for their fathers to bring food, as the mother watches over them. Males can be hunting for many weeks and may bring something as big as a Thorakititan Pachycephalus. If the male takes too long, the female may have to rip her own humps open in order to feed her young, when the young are done feeding from the humps, the female will wait until the humps have healed. once babies get their humps, they are allowed to leave their nest and catch small food for themselves. they are able to mate at around 5-8 years old. when two males both want one female they have a mating competition. in these competitions males will start off with a roaring contest, If the female cannot make up her mind after this they start to dig, whichever one can dig the deepest nest will have a higher chance of getting selected. If the female still cannot make up her mind, the males will go out and hunt for the biggest creature they can takedown. Finally, If the female still can't choose, the males fight. Whichever male backs down first will lose, and the winner gets to mate. DIET ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Horridum terribilus will eat whatever it can catch. even younger horridums from another nest
